No.22375
I have an Idea, what if we all mass-blood let on the night of the 24th once it turns 12am then bleed for Ebola-Chan. Christmas is one of the most holy days of the year. Well for Christians,Catholics and Jew's it is(and others I can't think of right now), but I'm thinking with all that energy in the air, we could focus it towards Ebola-Chan. Giving her the energy she needs to spread her Love to the world. Now I'm not a /Fringe/f a g but this sounds like it could work. But like I said, I'm not knowledgeable in magic. So any one that can help prove this Hypothesis, would be greatly appreciated.

I approve.
No.22377
>>22375>>22376Point of clarification, though, the Jews don't hold Christmas holy. That would kind of be against the point, as it's supposed to celebrated the birth of Jesus. That said, Hanukkah just so happens to end on the night of the 24th this year. It's just how their calender lines up.
As for other cultures that place value on this time of the year, the 21st is the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year. Often a point of ritual or celebration for "pagan" faiths, it tends to represent both birth/rebirth, and the beginning of the harsh period of Winter where resources are thin. There may be some symbolism worth exploiting there.
Pic tangentially related, apparently the Japanese associate the sun goddess Amateratsu's period of hiding with the WS.
No.22382
>>22377OP here. Alright, maybe we can set up mass-blood letting on both date's.(I forgot about the winter solstice) it would kind of be fitting really, bleed on the 21st for her coming and bleed on the 25th as a gift to her.
I like this Idea, everyone agree?

Winter Solstice is coming near. Mass blood-lettings? Or sacrifaps? Both?
Synchronized (might not fit people on different continents) or using midnight local time?
I'm thinking sacrifap at midnight local time (or by GMT since it's still night in other parts of Europe) with sacrifice by fire. I just need to work on my shrine.
Also, maybe we could use some new sacrifap material too? We have one night to prepare, and another to perform.
Then redo on X-mas. Red is the color of X-mas so should that focus mostly on blood rituals?
No.22655
>>22650GMT synchronization would probably work best. To accommodate for timezones… a few main opportunities that day? An opening every eight hours would probably work.
Midnight, 8am, 4pm, Midnight for GMT?
Sacrifap and Burning, a little blood for WS, then more focus on the blood for Christmas?
No.22682
>>22655I was thinking, maybe three main sacrifap times:
midnight at GMT, midnight at Eastern (USA), midnight at Pacific (USA). Use the closest time, if you are within +/-2 hours from them.
Outside three synchronized, use local midnight. Additional participation on synchonized "midnight" faps are OK even from the other side of the planet, in middle of day, if privacy, free time, etc. allows. These should be considered bonuses.
As for sacrifap materials… maybe we should dig that old lewds thread from the history and produce something new. Either X-mas related or fill in non-included fetishes. What sort of material are we missing or mostly in need of?
Cuddly eromoe stuff, to pray we get to meet her?
Softcore (solo), for general appreciation of her beauty?
BDSM (Ebola-chan dominating an infidel, ZMapp or Cure-chan), for wishing her strength and durability against her opponents?
Gangbang, for maximized spreading?
We can't get pro artfriends on short notice (or at all) but we can do something as a fandom. New art creates potency by itself.

The only way I can describe it to you is, think of a steam powered train, the more coal, the faster you go. But this train doesn't lose speed if the fire isn't fed constantly, it stays at the same temperature until fed more coal or blood in this case. You can only make the flame grow, until the next day start's.

I thought I'd share a few notes on my bloodletting methods here, in the hope that it'll help anyone interested in starting.
I'm the one who posted
>>22923First of all, you should give this guide a read:
http://ebolite.org/?p=177The guide says to use a sterilized blade, but I don't have anything to sterilize it with, so I use just soap and water instead. You really should use alchohol or something to sterilize it though if you can, or you might get infected with something other than ebola.
For a blade, I use a simple razor blade. It works good, and doesn't hurt until I cut deep enough to bleed.
For a bleeding surface, I use a drawing of Ebola-chan, her sigil, or a map. When not bleeding on a map, After I finish bleeding on the drawing I'll use any excess blood on my map of India until it stops bleeding.
As for the location of my cuts, pic related. When I first started I usually cut my left thumb, but I've found that cutting the palm of my hand is easier. When cutting, it will hurt. When it hurts, that means you're doing it right. Don't fear the pain. Remember, it's for her.
No.22969
>>22948Alright, I finally got around to doing it. Heck, I finally used a disposable razor again, rather than more situational methods.
Feast well, Ebola-chan! You've got a long and productive year ahead.

It's heartwarming to see faithful Ebolites at worship. She deserves to know she's welcome to 2015.
Lets bleed any bodily fluids after midnight local time to emphasize welcome of a New Year of Love, and to emphasize global spread outside GMT+0 (Sierra Leane, Liberia… even Scotland).

I set up a shrine for New Years. Haven't had an actual shrine before. It's a multiple deity shrine and the electric picture frame also has Molly-sama images.
Now using sakura flavored Japanese incense because she wears a flower on her hair (though there's debate on whether it's a cherry blossom or something else).
I intend to pain the "Love" frame toward brown. Or color with blood. Pig blood probably, as I don't intend to bleed enough to use my blood as a paint.
But that's not a project for today. Today we fap and/or bleed. Make her feel loved.

>>23222Molly deserves the respect. There are several mutations in the human genome directly attributable to the influence of malaria, sickle cell trait being the most obvious one. Also, Vsauce said that by some estimates, half of all people that have ever died (and there are 15 times as many dead people as live people, no matter what you may have heard to the contrary) died of malaria or complications of malaria. That even blows away Plague, who took out about a third of the population of Europe, and unknown numbers through the Middle East and Far East.
No.23374
>>23262Slow but steady wins the race. Ebola-chan is so virulent she might just burn a hole on the map, not managing to becoming a permanent endemic (outside non- or low-symptomatic vector populations such as bats).
Molly-sama may seem lazy to some, working only from her home, but she does what is needed.
She's also a survivor if any pathogen is. She doesn't even give a fuck about some people building immunity though anemia (and is that really such a win for them? Dem lazy anemic Ebola-Americans). She sticks to her speciality.
Long Live Malaria-sama!

>>23262>>23374It's funny, the things we learn here. These microbial beings, so much smaller than us, yet they've had incredible impact on human evolution. Some of Ebola-chan's DNA became part of ours, at one point. And then yes, there's the anemia of the Equatorial regions.

>>23374Do you have a sigil for Malaria-Sama fit for widespread use?
No.23504
>>23482Some art (with no consensus on being canon or not) have used "Ebola-chan" sigil for all blood-borne disease girls. Hence maybe you can use the same… or maybe Malaria-sama's sigil should have mosquito wangs on the blood drop. Then again, if you go by this logic, it doesn't make sense why Ebola-chan's sigil has BIRD wangs rather than BAT wangs.
Ebola-chan's wangs are bat wangs and they aren't big enough to make her truly airborne. They might give her added jumping distance though, but mostly they are just a reference to her bat vectors.
Bird wangs (considering birds being completely unrelated to Ebola-chan, as mammals are the only(?) carriers) is in my interpretation purely a reference to concept of being airborne. Considering Ebola-chan isn't airborne by her own means (just capable of traveling on airplanes), I think Malaria could use feathered wangs as well for her vectors (mosquito flies) are very much airborne even if the pathogen cannot float by it's own power.
We're on territory that hasn't yet been canonized but at least it means that stuff isn't confirmed heretical either.
No.23539
>>23504The bird wangs on Ebola-Chan's sigil are supposed to be angel wangs, think blood angel.
For Malaria-Sama, there seems to be some kind of consistency in her art.
I don't think having one, all-inclusive, sigil is going to be very helpful with empowering all of the Virus Goddesses. It would be much more productive for them to have one each.
With that said, is a Purple Heart with mosquito wangs a good idea for her sigil?
No.23540
>>23504>>23539To my knowledge, the bird wangs of Ebola-chan are mostly just a Blood Angel holdover. However, it also likely stems from a desire to improve her wangs, to give her actual airborne capabilities.
A purple heart with mosquito wangs sounds like it would work pretty well.
No.23563
>>23539>is a Purple Heart with mosquito wangs a good idea for her sigil? It sounds like a good idea. At least when used on light colored background.

Aw you guys are doing great with your blood offers. How do you pull it off?
I tried making a drawing with blood to welcome her into the new year but… I just couldn't cut my skin. Either I didn't choose the right knife or maybe I was too squeamish about cutting myself, thusly not applying enough force.
Didn't expect human skin to be that soft and leathery. I tried to cut into the narrow side of my left hand.
What did I do wrong?
No.23623
>>23621It takes some getting used to. What I ended up doing was taking a disposable shaving razor to my shoulder, stroking it across (as if shaving) until reaching a nice point to dig the blade in. Then, while still putting slight pressure on the blade, I moved it up and down just a little. Wasn't too painful, scratches have felt worse. After then removing the blades, I would pull the skin tight with my fingers, scrunch it inward, and move around my shoulder a bit. This gave me a few points that blood would slowly well up in, upon which I could press the sigil.
Good luck in your own bleedings!
