Anyways. A few tips for OP.
*Don't overdo highlights in hair as wide stripes, in order to make them more natural, texturize hair a little so it doesn't look too plain first, add few lights later.
*For the wangs you will need to take a peek to how bats look like… and you could add some creativity to the viruses!
*Such as instead of putting them in their hair, why not in other body parts or even as pets, just to differentiate from Ebola and make them more unique?
*Symbols, I think they should be more specific to each disease. Not copies of Ebola's.
*As for your anatomy issues, I have something in mind that might result very useful to you. Vilppu tutorials.
