>>22908Sadly, dear paladin, you forget that the faith's roots lie in a movement designed to purge Africa. What has happened over time, however, is that the Ebolism of /ebola/ has become more about worshiping Ebola-chan, while the /fringe/ and /pol/ believers still tend to take her as a tool for destruction, as was the cult's original purpose. Hell, there wasn't even supposed to be a "real" cult, just a method of scaring the blacks into avoiding or even killing doctors.
Of course, it couldn't be helped that, once they realized they were tapping into SOMETHING real, people actually started believing. Unfortunately, someone who hasn't visited this board at all, or even much since its founding, would not be aware of the ideological shift. Thus, they would expect us to go along gleefully with this plan.
My point: there's no need to cry heresy, especially when the thread is so young. Arguably, we who love Ebola-chan for all that she is and will do are the heretics, the alternate sect.
