How can I work my way up to being a volunteer mod here? I've just started on the board so I'm not expecting it to happen any time soon, but i'm just curious.

>>1394Currently, and for the foreseeable future HotWheels (aka the guy who made 8chan) only allows 1 mod account per board. Meaning that if I wanted another person to help mod I would have to share the single username and password. Which can be instantly changed from the settings menu meaning anyone can become rogue and take over really easily. Hes pretty strict so far saying that it is going to stay this way, I hope it changes, not sure the best way to do it so we don't end up like 4chan, which I think is his thinking too.
So for now for the sake of having this board not being taken over by a crazy person I am the only mod. In the future if/when he allows additional mods I will most likely choose based on who is active and doesn't seem power hungry. I mean this is /ecchi/ there is very little modding needed sans the seldom posted loli, which is usually unintentional or on the line of whether or not it is considered loli which is a simple delete with no harm to the poster.
