A Guide To Edgy

The purpose and philosophy of edgy must be laid out here for there may be misunderstanding otherwise.

This is a board which takes upon itself the unique task of being a medium for the expression of the darkest forms of human thought.

Society has become overbearing in its suppression of hatred and other negative feelings.

When we disown half of ourselves like this, we can not come to terms with who we are in our fullness.

Many a man waits for the collapse of society, a time when law will fail, and their inner savagery can come fourth.

We here at /edgy/ do not intend to wait and keep it all bottled up.

We don't strive to change the laws, nor would we even necessarily want it done, for how then could we practise the will to power?

What we are doing here is a transformative process, an exercise in seeing the beauty in all things dark, and the shit in everything regarded of the light. We are toying with our perceptions and overcoming dualities and in so doing freeing ourselves from causality, for we become the cause of our own actions then, and cease to be like the leaf blown about in the winds of external forces.

This is also a struggle for deeper meaning. We here on /edgy/ want to live and die in a meaningful fashion, only destroying meaning where meaning is shallow, and learning to embrace what is shunned for the sake of finding the beauty within.

We will tell you to kill yourself, and we want you indeed to meditate upon your own death, but at the same time we want you to fight and die with honour – the only death befitting an edgy man is one that will be remembered with shock and horror.

Edgy is a board for Nihilists, Buddhists, Stoics, Chaos Magicians, Hermeticists, Eccentrics, and others who do not needlessly limit themselves to such a narrow range of emotional expression.

We men of the edge want to free your soul – help everyone see a greater reality – snap you out of the dream of your everyday waking. We want you to remember that life is a game of infinite possibility and wonder.

We do not fear insanity, despair, anger, hatred, or any other modes of expression. We do not suggest that you suppress these feelings but that you follow them out to exhaustion. Embrace your fears, make your hatred pure, mourn your self, stop giving a shit about the consensus reality – make your own imprint on reality; be born again through the LHP.

By polarizing ourselves at extremes we let the pendulum swing take us to greater heights.

So you see now a great work is before us. Let our edginess be felt everywhere. Edgy is a balancing force, a cosmic force, we bring you to a higher state of being beyond the mundane.
