So my online friend is an edgy anarcho-nihilist and he basically reads a lot of anarchy material, specially stuff like the unabomber which states that the only way to take down the machine is to bomb its appendages which happens to take the form of various government buildings.
Violence he says is the only answer to a new society. Then society will run off the law of the jungle where the strongest will survive.
To me this sounds straight up insane. How exactly does destroying a government building help a revolution? Couldn't they just build it back up again? Won't violence in protests just create a more powerful police state when the government finally gets an excuse to fuck people's shit up since there are anarchists?
