Freedomboard had varying points of view but it wasn't such a mess. I never even bothered to migrate from the motherboard when it shut down. Edginess at least tends to discourage the dull types from entering here, though the old site is still superior if shut down.

I refuse to even use 8chan /fringe/. I told them from the start it was the wrong move but they didn't listen. /fringe/ as a board died already, before the switch to this site, though the founding ideals live on.

I was there for the start and end of the board and still carry a torch for it. /fringe/ continues through me. Besides, /fringe/ was always a cult of cult leaders rather than the exoteric information for the followers themselves. Leave the degenerates to their diluted new age crap.
