~Take advantage of the 4-year education program
~Major in Accounting
~Possibly Major in Mathematics
I really just want to understand business and how to take advantage of money. I'm already taking some business classes right now and it seems if I were just to sit there and attempt to understand, it could easily be understood. I also want to minor in Spanish too so at least I can be able to speak in another language.

That's it. I'm learning software engineering by the way.

>>143Are you planning to go into bio-informatics?
>>132Learning another language is always cewl. Aren't you afraid of being sent into the field?
No.161
>>160No, from what I heard, the navy doesn't send soldiers to the field that often. You can have a career option there too, which I'm going to apply for Accounting to get some experience and education in it. Langauges are awesome, I've spent about 3 years of Spanish in High School, so I have at least some basic knowledge of it. I have tried/am trying to speak to foreigners of Spanish countries. It really helps because you always think that you are right from what you have learned, but it turns out that you make a couple of mistakes here and there.
No.166
>>160I'm not planning to, but I might end up there. Everyone keeps saying how that field is full of opportunities, but I barely know anything about biology and am not really that interested.

Ultimately, I want to save the world. Problem is, there is too much shit and I don't think I'm smart enough.
No.176
>>175You have some pretty good intentions. That is nice, but there can be a solution. You might not be able to save the whole world, but you can save a part of it. Especially for medicine, you can do a lot of voluntary work in a poor country or if you make big income, you can donate most of the money you don't need and give it to a non-profitable charity.

Right now, I'm learning mobile app dev so I can create new communication platforms. I'm doing this because I feel that we have not fully explored the possibilities in terms of cybernetic communities, especially since the advent of the smartphone.
btw, I'm a college dropout. Couldn't stand institutional learning. I'm using the web and books to learn.

I'm new to development, new to programming. I have some experience with web and graphic design, that's about it as far as tie-ins. I'm learning as fast as I can, but I'll take any help I can get.
What's your experience with computer stuff?

>>250App dev guy here. I'm much better at graphic design than programming, so if you ever get to the point where you can make shit that works, hit me up on this board.
