Well since /edu/ is quasi active, I thought I might dump some pdf per your requests. Look at pic related for your wants and needs and remember the max filesize is 8mb. I also have the Gentoomen library if you want something more tech related. Could someone also reassure me the odds of getting a love letter for posting these. Just the thought of a company saying "pls stop" gets me a little anxious.

"Unauthorized Entry and Physical Security" sounds interesting. "Environmental Operations" too. What's in there? Anyway, the odds of being noticed for uploading some pdfs to 8chan are so low that it borders on pathological paranoia.

Well the folder that I have can be found at murdercube.com (it's /k/ oriented). It's 83 gigs of compressed .rar so be aware of that. It terms of viruses and whatnot, Windows Defender flags all the keygen files from the software within the MegaFolder, so I'm pretty sure it's clean. Be wary if you look for the Gentoomen Library, as there are a couple scripts hidden within a couple HTML documents. Pic related as I asked /tech/ about this.

Could you open your Electronics and Communications folder for me? ;^)

Mind if you megaupload your collection?

 No.269

Forensics and investigation I would like to try very much.
Ammo and Firearms mostly because I don't know much about 'em.

May I ask about what's in the Fiction and Miscellaneous folders?

RFCs are actually pretty usable too if you are looking for the details of a specific protocol: http://www.ietf.org/rfc.html

And be sure to install Wireshark (https://www.wireshark.org/), it's a free packet analyser, play with it while you are studying.
They have some interesting sample captures too: https://wiki.wireshark.org/SampleCaptures

Cool, thanks. Looking at the index I think I will go for the second one, if I find the time (I was looking for something around 300 pages to get started…)
Do you have any wireshark alternative for linux to suggest?

 No.326

>>325
Wireshark works on GNU/Linux, you should be able to install it using your distro's package manager. If that doesn't work, you can try compiling the source code yourself or downloading one of the third party packages listed at the bottom of the download page.

But if you really need something other, you can try tcpdump, but it's really bare-bones.

oh, you are right, dunno what I had read that made me assume there wasn't a GNU/LInux version

Same poster, sorry I didn't realize this was a request thread from the OP. Thought everyone could contribute. Anyway, I don't think it'll matter too much.
