9c5909 No.117

Hello /electronics/ i need some help and advice
I have an old late 50's tube radio at home
Its mine and i don't know any use of it, tried to sell it before but there was no interest.
The model is Telefunken Gavotte 9 Export

(specs. http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/telefunken_gavotte_9_export.html )

I got some money now and i saw some youtube videos of similar radios transformed into guitar amp, so i would like to do the same, but i don't have any knowledge needed to finish this project myself, i only know some college eletronics basics and have some basic soldering skills.
So my plan is to leave the radio circuits inside and use one button called Pick up button ( see pic ) to transform the radio into basic guitar amp.
It seems to me that i only have to find the circuits of that function and swap it with guitar jack and some basic elements to lead my guitar signal, but im not sure is this correct and how to do it

Btw sorry for my bad english not my native

I don't need the eq knobs since it has two buttons ( far right ) to adjust sound type, and also i have pedals for that. I would just like nice sounding basic gitar amp so i can practice inside my room. It would be better then mine current amp ( laney lx12 ). So i really need your help how to do it, what parts i need and some advices. If you are willing to help me you can also ask me for my email, if you don't want to please ignore and hide the thread. Here are the manuals with schemes ( sadly on German =( ) and some pics of the back of the radio
