is there anyway to convert a USB webcam into wireless device?

You can try using a bluetooth with a usb-to-serial adapter. The output is received by another bluetooth which can either output serial data directly to the computer, or, if it can't do that, you can use another adapter.

Aaah, also, if speed is an issue, or distance, you can use a wifi module instead.

USB devices are master / slave. OP will need a master device (computer of some sort) to make this scheme work.
