This board has been created to foster political discussion in anonimity.

The rules are simple:

Discuss in good will. All topics are allowed, however the discussions must be respectful of the board and its members.

This chan is still growing, so feel free to start new threads whenever you want. Invite anons if you think they're capable of critical thought.

I'm here to mod out any dicks, so for now feel free to invite them people.

Am I nuts for thinking all that team stuff is some kind of psyop? What is going on that they are silencing our relevant news flow.

There's a central American mob, 1200 and growing, matching towards our border. Hillary Clinton was rushed to the hospital: idk why though.

What else is going on?

This board has potential and I've been checking back frequently, excitedly hoping for some fresh content, and though what's here is good quality, it isn't enough for me.

So let's just start a conversation.

What have you been reading? What worldview-changing concepts have you been researching? Have you had any successes lately? How are you feeling about the global, national and local happenings?

If we could gather some of the best minds we come across on the chans, a really powerful group of thinkers, what would you like to see that power used for?

not cannibals

their work is much more insidious

I'd say that postmodernism / nilihism is their strongest weapon. The narrative of:

> "morality is subjective"

> "nothing really matters"

and shit like this has only served to make the population more agreeable and docile

People who really care about something are ostracized and rarified.

Still, being alone in the current trends is something good, seeing as how these trends are leading us.

I've been taking a non-standard approach to reading lately, following my natural rhythms to see where they take me. It's been working well even if it still feels a bit odd.

Basically instead of reading one book at a time until finished, or two to alternate while focusing on one, I just pick up whichever book interests me at the moment and read a chapter out of it then and there.

Obviously I haven't finished as many books lately as in the past, but it's got an interesting effect from making my mind shift gears frequently that I like.

Some of the books I've been flipping between:

-An Outline of Psychoanalysis, revised edition by Clara Thompson

-Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism (childhood favorite that I found while cleaning)

-Four Books & Five Classics

-Algorithms to Live By

-Shamanic Book of Death and Dying

-The Ego and Its Own

-The Essential Lenormand by Rana George

-Take Pride by Jessica Tracy

-The Open Mind by Dawna Markova *This is the one I'd recommend most strongly to anyone here*

Probably one or two that aren't on the list. It might not be the "best" method, but it's nice in that if something doesn't grab me, there's always a chance for something else to do so.

I think the most recent two I've finished were Red Rising and Cat's Cradle, both very good for different reasons and both pretty light reading. Cat's Cradle definitely gave me more to think about, Red Rising was just a very enjoyable story to ride along with, in the sense of Ender's Game. Little doubt that the protagonist is going to win, but the fun is in watching how, not wondering if.

So this evening, after helping a buddy build a deck, I decided to smoke a bowl and read four chan. I just about became racist as fuck. Gif after gif of blacks being animals. Seen individually, they wouldn't bring you to a dark place, but they were rapid fire. Not sure if different anons, but it momentarily affected me.

Granted, I was stoned, but has anybody noticed the shills, FBI honypots, or glow in the dark anons egging on all-right flavor aggression? Is it just me?

My theory: as always, they are looking for the right headline to shut down /pol/, but just as imams can radicalize Muslim youth, so can ignorant white youth be radicalized and go all dylan-roof on some folks. These are the cheese moves setting up the endgame.

Could we extinguish their fires of division?

Not suggesting any bit of cuckholdry, but find a bond.

>Idea for unity meme

One day while driving home from work, I passed up a cemetery. There was one car parked in the driveway: a Chrysler 300 with big shiny rims. Walking in the graveyard, carrying a few flowers, pointed at the ground while his other hand covered his crying eyes, a black, American "thug" was approaching the grave of someone he'd loved. And lost. I was stoned once again and came up with a commerical idea where a white guy confess walking up, in the same emotional shape, and passes the thug. Respectfully, they give each other a head nod. They connected in their pain.

The message is: despite our entire lives, our upbringing, our day to day experiences, loss is painful. Let out goals be success and happiness.

Anyway, that's a wall of text. I'm hungry

 No.73

why not both?

A radicalized population is more pliable, so long as their "leader" says it's ok, then it's ok.

To become radicalized you have to leave behind logic, you let yourself be led by hatred.

I know what you're talking about, all the threads saying shit like:

>brown eyes -> not white

or the amerimutt memes

they're here just to sow division between the whites

but even more so, dividing people by race, gender etc.. just make them easier to control

So said a great warlord:

>divide and conquer

so is happening to the free world

As I see things, if they can get away with it, then they deserve to get away with it.

The weak should fear the strong, this truth stands to this day.

What remains? Well.. either we, the people manage to revive our zombified democracies, or.. well the puppetmasters will become beings above humanity.

That's good stuff. I'm trying to remain unbiased when I explain my thoughts, but though there may be a Russian bot problem elsewhere on the internet, what has happened on 4chan doesn't feel like that. I should probably do some research into what they're saying these Russian bots did and how they did it, but how would any bots besides a Google bot get passed Captchas?

It would seem that we have experienced real people, working as/in teams, creating division. But if AI is really that good, than we'd have to assume any user on any site could be fake and from any developed country.

But Google can't sell captcha if it was that bad. Google's AI created it's own "child" AI that could recognize objects (i.e. people, signs, cars, purses etc) better than it could. The AI can already program better than humans. Isn't this AI child perfect for Captchas?

But what about paying for 4chan membership? Does that remove the Captchas? Does this create an in for bots? Can't the site owners find these bots and "solve the problem"? Can't any number of sites solve the problem? Is it more likely that there are real people with anti-establishment views, and that establishment wants something to pin on Russia, the boogeyman of choice, so they make up a story with weak evidence linking the opposition?

While that video is level-headed and mostly correct, it does exactly what it argues against by pointing the finger at an unproven culprit while silencing any contradictory theories. It colors one's perception of Russia, dehumanizing it, and setting us all up for nuclear war toe to toe with the Rooskies.

By my understanding the "russian bots" problem is the same as many other problems running concurrently.

Y'see part of it yes is "(chat)bots are more advanced than the public is aware of", yes, but part of it also is farms of reasonably well-paid people operating a dozen simultaneous accounts to post the same opinion everywhere. Unfortunately I no longer have the picture, but when the US election was still in full swing, someone got a picture of a Share Blue office. Imagine a large classroom with the desks replaced with drafting tables (large, wide, lifted at an angle), each desk covered in 10-15 devices (tablets, phones, I forget if I saw any laptops in the picture but it was some time ago). That person then can put the same opinion everywhere they're paid to. IIRC these people were being paid ~$15/h, which is pretty good money in most places in the US. Politics are an obvious use of it, but marketing of all sorts deploys it. /v/ is a great place to go for examples of this, some games when announced have extremely disproportionate hype waves online: The most recent monster hunter was an obvious example, as soon as the first trailer released there were people posting on 4chan and reddit about how excited they were to get into it and what their teams were going to be and stuff. All before any info was actually released on the game or anyone knew details about it. Because the the thing they know is: If you can get the hype ball rolling, it will build itself up, so try to artificially pump the hype up early on. First two weeks of sales trump everything else in video games.

My thoughts tend towards "daemons" (programming subroutine, not fallen angel) rather than bots. Some daemons might be useful, such as the one in your mind that tells you to wipe the counter down after you rinse a dish. Others are less useful, like the ones programming you to respond with laughter/derision to an opposing viewpoint. Bots are, quite obviously by design, little daemon-balls floating around on the internet and responding to everything according to what their daemons say. Paid posters (like Shareblue, Russia, or their less political equivalents) are also operating off of daemons, theirs were simply placed (programmed) byPost too long. >First two weeks of sales trump everything else in video games.

Just to elaborate on this in case the reason for it isn't obvious to some: This is a result of game reviewers online. "Review embargos" can help by preventing people from putting videos up on it until the day of release (otherwise, pre-release footage can hurt preorder sales), but as soon as the game is released, a floodgate opens. Everyone wants to be the first on youtube with a video of the new game, so they go up fast and opinions begin to form.

The worst thing that can happen to a company is they release a game that people figure out is bad before they buy it. It's now possible for a studio to release a game and make back essentially none of their investment from it.

I don't support this practice but am explaining why pre-release marketing is so important to them. Honestly don't know of a way to mitigate it either, short of killing off youtube and twitch.

>Why is it important to improve yourself?

Good question. Here's why I decided to improve myself. I realized I was wasting my life chasing 'happiness' - I was basically smoking weed, cigs, drinking beers, playing videogames every. single. day. I had a job and my own place, so at least I had that going for me. I wasn't happy though. One day I got inspiration to make a change. I went to a funeral and it dawned on me how much I was pissing away my life.

I signed up for an MMA gym and got my ass kicked day in, day out. I popped motrin pills like they were M&Ms. I quit smoking cigs and pot, quit drinking, started eating healthy, started lifting, doing yoga, running, getting sun, swimming, hiking, etc. etc.

Suddenly I was getting looks from chicks, I had more confidence. Everything was getting better for me.

I started reading political books and I really got into demographics and geopolitics. It dawned on me that if I wanted to make a change in the world, to make it a better place that I needed to start a family, a big family with lots of kids.

I found myself a woman who had the same values as me and 2 years later we got married.

I am now a father of 3. We plan on having 4 total.

When we improve ourselves we improve the world around us.

Politics is all a game of demographics, the future belongs to those who show up for it.

Life is a pact between the past, present, and future - it's why people build great works and why men die for king and country.

Hmm yeah I understand.

Part of the allure that 4chan had for me was the almost complete freedom. However you are right in the sense that this freedom is exploited against the users.

Yeah I agree, keeping discussion civil and trying to minimize fallacies is a good way to grow.

 No.43

>>34

I think perhaps we can still allow the freedom and chaos to exist. No, I believe we must maintain that chaos and freedom. I believe that is the only way a chan can be free like I would hope for. Where the intelleigent majority who is able to clearly and calmly articulate their arguments. Their SOUND arguments that pass the test of logic infallibly. Arguments that eventually become the consensus because they were argued SO well by SO many anons and they make so much sense that nobody is able to cloud the truth. The good ol anon test. That is precisely why so much truth continues floating around in the sea of shill gutter water.

Imagine the old 4chan where people totally ignore any and all attempts to troll (now shill) just like we used to ignore the the exact same copy troll (now shill) thread 150 times a day. Do you guys think we could somehow make that happen? Anons have made ALOT of very serious shit happen. No question we have HUGE influence as a collective. That is precisely why anons have become such a target.

Anonymous was infiltrated and obliterated from the inside out. I'm not even close to suggesting we rebuild an anon group because I have zero interest in that, nor am I deluded enough to even believe I could do such a thing. My point is that anonymous' designed demise + /pol/'s absolutely out of control shill invasion is absolute proof that (((they))) were becoming very scared at what we might do as a unit. We had Anon and OWS beginning to combine forces and it was crushed swiftly. Why else would a campaign to crush that swiftly and efficiently be paid for and given resources to carry out? Because we are EXTREMELY powerful as a whole.

>>28

I absolutely love this analogy. Quality shit right here

 No.44

>>43

Actually, I take that back. Trolls werent ignored like my post would make it seem, but you get the idea. Majority of trolls were easily spotted. Our past time of trolling has been studied and coopted by (((them)) and they turned it into a huge DnC shill art. Just like trolling.

Yeah Anons had a ridiuclous amount of influence, which is why 4chan made the news, which is how ((they)) heard from us and then paid to have us attacked.

>Anonymous was infiltrated and obliterated from the inside out

Well.. here's the thing. I know there were a couple of groups that called themselves Anonymous, but Anonymous is anyone. Some of "their" accomplishments were the result of one rouge individual working alone. That is the beauty of the group. One person can make a huge difference. What matters is action.

> (((they))) were becoming very scared at what we might do as a unit

This is true. Having citizens discussing the current events and poking into what may be the cause behind so much shit scares them.

I risk sounding like a conspiracy theorist, but ever since I heard about Ed Snowden and what he revealed I knew that they would use the internet to control us.

It hasn't reached its full potential yet, but we can see how things are going. Think about this:

A "smartphone" has microphones, cameras, all sorts of sensors built into it. Their hardware and software are known to be plagued with backdoors, many of which are used by governments to spy on the users.

Most people carry that shit everywhere they go. They sleep next to the thing, they go to the bathroom with it. In this sense, they're never alone and everything they say, think and experience is within the reach of their phone, and by extension their government.

This kind of control has never existed inPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Yeah, we should expand on this topic in the counter shill thread.

I know /pol/ has been in a bad state recently, but there is still some quality content.

The idea of memetic warfare is straight on point.

OP from the 4chan thread here…

Since the creator of this board intends to use this board as a general discussion forum, I have created another separate board to be used for planning our own shilling campaign. It's called /emotionlesspol/ and I think it would be good to use a meeting place to share ideas on how to combat the shill epidemic, while we can use /erispol/ as a general place to discuss politics with people we know to be calm and respectful.

Perhaps I am just being naive, but I truly believe we can make a serious difference. The only rule is to keep it respectful.

Please drop in if you are serious about combating the shill plague. Let's make halfchan great again!

Just a suggestion, I think you could have this discussion in /erispol/

We have a small population, fragmenting it further could be counterproductive. Also shiils are a very strong topic. We can discuss it at length.

 No.49

>>40

Agreed. This seems crucial to me actually. Plan a solid defense strategy before it happens and if/when it happens we can handle it swiftly.

>>41

Yea, you're probably right. I didn't think about the fact that important threads will not be able to be slid since we have the ability to sticky threads if they grow good enough to be worthy of it, and even the ones that arent stickied won't be lost and 404'd among such a small group of anons.

 No.50

We should probably create an understanding right now.

Am I correct in that the creator of this board wants to create a whole new board of his own focused on respectful intelligent discussion here, while my initial idea is to stay more focused on building something to fight back against the shill epidemic?

Is this correct, board owner? I'm just trying to get an idea of what the main purpose is here.

 No.51

>>50

If the first one is true, perhaps we can have both right here. Perhaps we can make the topic of fighting the shills effectively at the top of the discussion? Maybe build a well made shill warfare sticky of some kind?

 No.52

>>51

The idea is to try to create a community where political discussion can be fruitful.

This means that we can discuss shill warfare, since this is at the forefront of contemporary politics. It is a domain where we can have an impact. So I think this topic is very welcome in what I'm trying to foster.

If you wish I can sticky this thread.
