Nothing makes a profile stand out like having some good character art. I have 1204 images in my character art folder, and will do my best to fill in any requests people have, be it something broad like "space explorers" or an actual description of your character.
Something to keep in mind is that I don't have pretty much any nudes. Furthest I go is impractical armor and artistic nudity (pics related)

And the whole geezer-wizard thing is because the traditional way to get magic is by reading books. Like, a lot of books. And nobody teaches you anything for the first few years of apprenticeship anyway. They just make you do their chores. So you start out at let's say age 15. They don't let you touch anything until age 18. Then age 20 you can now make some sparks. Pretty, but useless. However, the law of quadratic mages applies, so you're gonna be just kinda making light shows for a while, but then when you're like, 35 your magical abilities skyrocket.

As far as the story goes, this is the way the church thinks; If we just kill the parent and child, then it's just hearsay whether or not a monster is actually born, so it would lead to suspicion on the town's part due to not seeing the beasts. It's easier to turn the children into monsters and kill them in a showy fashion so there's less of a chance that people would question the story.
As far as the character goes, how would I flesh him out further? He's just a guy that grew up mostly abandoned and is actually a softy for a monster boy.

It's generally the best place to go for art if you don't feel like dealing with other people. Unfortunately as far as I know there's no tag for close-ups of the face, so you'll have to just sift through a lot other pics, but you can search for more specific stuff like brown_hair or female to be more likely to find people closer to what you're looking for.
