I generally share it with most people I text-fuck, at least to giggle at the opinions I disagree with.

In board "sharethreads" over at /b/, where people shill for their boards or other boards they like, I always post /erp/.

I've tried to start some roleplay threads over at /k/ in the past, but only a few of them have ever gotten attention.

I really don't know how to talk about 8chan or /erp/ in F-Chat without sounding like an edgy LOL ANONYMOOS SEKRET CLUB

Only more specialised boards have different vibes, really. As much as a lot of people over there like to think otherwise, 4 and 8chan's /v/s are pretty much the same thing.

Well, I've lurked these boards for a good solid 3 months now, and to say the least I like the idea of becoming an Active member. The problem with that is whenever I actually do grow the balls to try to ERP, one of the following happens:

1) European x American =/= Good ERPing, due to time-differences.

2) ERP Session ends abruptly.

3) I get so turned on I can't think straight, so I won't know what to type next.

And I'm fully aware also that it's definently just me being a beginner to this that's the problem, but I have no idea how to become a better type-fucker, since when I do try it on an Orgy Thread or Fapbait Thread, I got no clue what the other person's kinks are, and he/she doesn't know mine. I've considered making an F-List, but hearing all the negative things about it has always made me re-think my decision.

So is it worth it making an F-List account to start off?

I say it's very much worth it, people tend to exaggerate about how shitty F-List is, it's not the best place on the internet, i myself have posted my fair share of shit on the Bitching Threads you see around here, it's still a good way to meet new partners and evolve as a writer.

I started off as a 1-2 line poster but kept pushing on and now i'm at easily 6-8 lines although i'm still comfortable with whatever many lines my partner wishes to write even if it's much less, it also helps you get a better feel for the kinks.

Just beware of the genders, there's much discrimination between them.

Play as a blue (male) and expect to get less play than almost everyone else, stuck-up partners who think they're doing you a favour by playing with you and being disliked in misandrist rooms.

Play as a pink (female) and expect to get far more play and approaches but with much worse quality, inexperienced players and furries.

Play as a worst gender (shemales/herms and to some extent trans) and expect a shit ton of approaches with varying quality, bitchbreakers wanting to dom you and closet faggots worshiping your disgusting cock.

Play as a green (cuntboy) and expect jack shit, you're the minority of F-List and possibly the one who gets less play (male-herms and "unsures" may have it worse, though).

I've never bothered with F-List, it's probably a waste of time and just a source for retarded drama from everything I've seen about it. For the orgy and fapbait threads, you can feel free to post what kinks you have/are looking for, in spoiler tags if you find it less intrusive, and the board style I think will make for a better environment for you to get your feet wet due to time zone differences and/or needing time to think through replies due to getting too aroused.

That's… silly. I've used F-List for 6+ years and I've never once gotten into drama. It's an incredible resource for making yourself available to partners and for finding partners. If you think it's just non-stop retarded drama that's because the kind of people who get themselves into retarded drama are also the type who spread that drama elsewhere by bitching about it.
