Well, I'm now trying to clean up my kinks list since it is a bit too bloated, and honestly, I don't know if I like the system. I think I prefer to describe her personality and what sort of stuff she might like in the description, since it is more fun, and can be as generic or focused as I want. For instance, Madalena is neither submissive nor oppressive, but she could be broken into being submissive, or at least coerced into being obedient. That is so much easier and enjoyable to describe in the description itself.
Another thing I'm having trouble with is what to think of the list of kinks. Is it my kinks, or Madalena's kinks? For instance, I love breeding, but Madalena really wouldn't be very happy to have babies at her age, as you might imagine. I feel I should be using the kink list for my personal likes and dislikes, and leave what she likes for her description. I do get it that the kinks list was made to make character lookup easier (right?), but still…
As for custom kinks, I don't see anything wrong with them. For instance, I like cum in fooddon't judge, but the food play kink lists many other things like force feeding, or even conssuming large amounts of food, which a person may not really enjoy. I think custom kinks are a good thing, and I would maybe say they are even essential.
Maybe I'm overthinking it.

1. Take one of your obscure fetishes and find an RP based around it. Focus more on your writing and fun words to use than making quick responses (For example, how would you describe nipples? What words convey what is going on with your character?)
2. Post your profile here and be very clear on what you expect from your RP partners in terms of writing skills, or take a person from these threads and message them if their profile is up to par.

Before I comment on anything, this is all my subjective feelings on the subject and I don't necessarily advocate you to change anything.
Right, now; if you want to optimize it so that more people would approach you, you should add more pics (make sure they all look similar at the very least), add more custom kinks, expand the stats and cut down on description text.
1. Most people in my experience tend to look at pics and the info tab first, the stuff there is what determines if you'd be compatible from the outset. Also, having pics and stats is way more convenient for your partner when they need to get some reference for your character when already in the scene.
2. People will definitely look through your fave and yes kinks, but they won't be keeping every little thing in mind; so if you want something specific, it's always better to make a custom kink for it. Even if its very general things, you will at least give people a sense of what kind of a set-up you might be interested in.
3. The more text there is in the description, the less likely it is that people will read it. All you really want to have there is a few paragraphs that give a feel for your character, you don't need to give too many details. If you still feel like you want to have that on the profile, put it under collapse.
Finally, personal pet peeve - that bit about WIP up top. Just take it off. If you really plan to update, you don't have make excuses for it not being perfect yet.

1. I am aware that most people like pics, but I don't like them as much. I prefer to imagine than to be told exactly what I see. Regardless, if I ever think I don't have enough RPs going I'll look into this, but for now, the single picture I have for her seems to be enough to attract a few guys and girls and other things.
2. I'll definetely keep that in mind. My kinks section is still a work in progress, but honestly, the most important part of it for me is the "no" section, since I'm pretty open to everything else. There are some things that I would definetely like to add as my favourites though.

Multiverse works if you have a background that fits every canon/fantasy you want to put the character into. You don't need to lay it out in the profile for everyone to see, just have it in mind, or put a super-summary in custom kinks or something.
But dimension jumping/universe connection is usually a cheap cop-out, and few characters can make it work. Because, like you now, it's not part of the character and their story as it's a gimmick to give the appearance of flexibility, so it just reads weird. It CAN work, mind: plopping a modern character into medieval fantasy and watching them figure things out and cope with the lack of plumbing can be super fun. But you definitely want to avoid nilly-willy dimension jumping when your character is overpowered as fuck, as it's the main problem with other multiverse characters: a normal human could be plopped just about anywhere and fit, but that's not the case if your character is a 6' fire-bending psychic with near-immortality and the ability to bring the dead back to life.
You can always make a note of being willing to change the character to a certain degree to fit canons/settings not covered in his main profile, though. A bit swept-under-rug-y, but simple and clean.

There's really not one way, and it depends on how much effort you want to put in to searching for partners or letting them come to you.
There are several options to look at profiles under the "Characters" tab: Browse New, Character Gallery, Roleplay Ads, and Search Characters. You're given options there, to search by kinks, by gender, by preferences (sexual or regarding roleplay), etc.
Then there's logging into chat. There are many channels dedicated to Looking For Roleplay (LFRP), and smaller, more specific channels where ads can be posted, too. You can either reach through ads and contact whoever strikes your fancy, or toss your own ad and hope to be contacted by someone else.
The chat also allows you to search for partners by kinks, gender, and preferences while you're in it, and it'll throw results of people who have a "looking for roleplay" status, or an "online" status, so you know they're, at the very least, online.
Now, custom kinks, you can't search for. Custom kinks don't show up in searches at all, which some say is a good thing. People will see them if they check your profile, and so you can use them as extra information or letting people know about kinks or preferences f-list doesn't already offer to show for you.
Unlike the anon above, I'm of the mind that you should fill your list as thoroughly as possible, save for kinks that aren't relevant to your character (e.g. If you have a male gay character and male pregnancy is in your no, then you don't need to mark birthing/breeding/pregnancy/risk of pregnancy in your list). Filling up your list with only custom kinks, to me, is bothersome and lazy. Sure, your custom kinks tell me of your five top unusual kinks, but I have no quick way to check a myriad of other kinks to see if it's all right to add them in if it fits the scene. Lots of people say they are "open to anything": that's a shitty lie, and I feel more uneasy with people with tiny 4-custom-kinks lists than people who have long, but clear, no lists.

Ageplay is allowed, the site has strict rules on never using photos or very realistic depictions of children, though. There's many users who like shota/loli, it's just not as big a thing as, say, people looking for shemales to fuck them. I have a shota character myself, it's not that hard to find someone who'd like to play with him.
Also, yeah, ageplay would be what you're looking for. That's for underage characters in general, but it's mostly used for the -teen range.If you want to specify characters younger than 15, you'd want to use "Cubs / young characters".
For channels, you can advertise in the normal LFRP channels, but there's also the public chat room "Ageplay". Be aware that channels outside the LFRP ones are chat-friendly, so if you want to post an ad, you need to click "post as ad" and not just hit enter, so users who are there just to chat can filter them out. There's also private channels for ageplay, too, "Molested Little Ones" and "Extreme Ageplay," but they move extremely slowly and are mainly for ads, I'd recommend sticking to LFRP and Ageplay channels.

Fairly sure Blues get starved of RP because people get on the site bored of vanilla males and usually go for furry males, monsters, dick girls, and girls. You can find male on female anywhere, but F-List is a magical site where any pairing you can think of can happen! And dickgirls are always loved.
I've seen some highly successful vanilla male characters who've gotten popular because they're good at RP and are actually interesting people.
The vanilla blues that get starved are the tips'fedora'milday who jump to complaining that they don't get RP before they actually try messaging anyone, then give up and try making another vanilla blue.
I will note though that many artists don't draw that many males so there's lack of art to come up with anything inspiring.

Ah, gotcha. Yes, my standards are high. I like literate partners who don't flip out when one thing won't go their way. Some amazing profiles just either had players who were too strict with what could and couldn't happen to their character (making even custom-character-creation hard to achieve for them), or just want shemale/herms/females as partners (and for some reason I could never get into female x female and I got burned out of shemale/herm).
I'm looking practically everywhere, though, so no, I'm not looking in the wrong areas. I did get a handful of great scenes while playing blues, though, I'm not saying there aren't any good females. But since the "male x female" pool is so very large, there's lots more bad partners that jump out at you. Reducing my pool to male x male means less good partners, but also less bad partners. It's all about perception, I suppose.
