One of the biggest flaws of my character is that I'm unable to heal myself without wasting a crystal. I would greatly appreciate a regeneration for my vambraces from someone (anyone who feels up for a yuri scene with me~) so I don't have to worry about them breaking next time I use explosive blow. I'm confused about my action: Did mine get lost last turn? I'd like to take sugar up on her offer - is that this turn, or next? Joke about taking two turns to get dressed goes here, i guess. Lets see, though.. panties, check, skirt, check, no bra, check… it looked like everbody moved so hmmn.. I sense a head start being given to everyone tho. Thats okay by me :).
Starting to stand, shakily but with a bounce and perk in her step, isabel stretches. Lets see. I don't feel too bad about this since the map's open to everyone. I won't tell you what to do so much as lay the situations out as I see it. I'm probably going to be comin for you, and maybe with you soon. I'm a ~little~ bit disappointed you didn't use the window my legs opened to get more allies, but hey, dice happened and this situation isnt as bad as you think.. You currently have a numbers advantage, but monsters and trapswill even that out as you chase into unexplored rooms - so you want to expand your numbers as you can. I was personally hoping I could seperate comet from crimson and siren before i rolled a 1 while fleeting, but it seems to have happened anyway.
with 4v2 up north you have a numbers advantage. Things are going to get super nasty for you if Valkyrie falls back to my party.
If you all move east, you might get some free attacks on comet - 3 in 10 isn't bad - but I will laugh if she gets the better of one of you. She's in an excellent position to go for one of you immediately - phoenix has that fun disadvantage btw comet - and run away or otherwise disrupt the link up. On the other hand, comet could be getting over her head and its possible to focus and purify her fast if you roll well. Comet could also gun for your crystal carrier, and that would be a pretty big net loss. Either way, she's more dangerous than you think.
energy crystals are also great for restoring flipping allies. Consumables do you no good if you never use em - they also seem to be a full heal, which could save several turns worth of valuable regeneration.
Princess Splinter's going to make an interesting lynchpin - if you fight damaged going east, its 4v2. If you go south, maybe its a 3v3 with a monster appearing and far less fair. If you do move south, the group could stay to heal you, but would lose out on the chance to jump on comet.
From what I've seen, corruption/purification attacks don't seem to be helped by points in attack, so if you're aiming to turn a foe fast, it pays to have extra hands, and fingering people through underwear, lingerie, and other 1-point armor isn't just fun, it actually could be pretty effective. 4 vs 5 is a difference of 1 turn in a sex battle to twenty, but it matters less when there's four people doing it.
best case scenario, comet an valkyrie are on your side in 2-3 turns. Worst case scenario, Idol or Phoenix turns in the middle of the fight while valkyrie & mysterious plant friend meet up with my group going north and its suddenly 5v4 OR we reinforce comet's charge and hit everyone from behind, probably in the behind since we're in a great reactionary position.

Honestly, I think Black Comet is currently the most powerful character on the map. If she's still in fighting condition by the time Sugar and Axe get there the battle becomes unwinnable without overwhelming force. The fact that Isabel will be following behind them makes it even more dangerous.
The room set up is interesting. If things go south we can fall back into the left column but that may well be a death sentence. The fact that it takes 2 less turns to get across the North side than the South is relevant. Moving into the middle room gives a lot of options and possibly buys a bunch of time.
I actually forgot about Lightly Dressed. That certainly complicates things. But as long as she's dressed you won't get the full multiplier so we have some time. I think Idol actually has the same resistance.
Princess Splinter is going to be VERY relevant in the coming turns, you got that right. Healing her is a chore though, so as soon as she picks a plan we all have to commit to it 100% or we will suffer losses. If she rushes, Cherry Sparrow and Robin are more or less locked in to follow.
Speaking of, Cherry Witch is a scary good mirror breaker. If it turns into a slugfest and anyone manages to heal her up she attacks for entire outfits. It's wildly conditional, but with three energy crystals between us she's almost guaranteed a shot at revenge. Zaiolin Sparrow and Hope Crusader Robin can debuff and apply pressure, but that leaves one more problem. Sparrow can not leave anyone behind. As tough as she is, if things go south she's finished.
Rules question, can Phoenix's Binary Fire target two different sections on the same characters body? That would be pretty clutch right now.
And one final thing to consider, Robin's Spirit of Hope only gets better the more people are in the room.

If we head east now and try to 3v1 Comet, we should have 4 or 5 turns before Diva, Axe and Isabel can come for us. That should hopefully be enough time to get her stripped down and purified, though after that I recommend immediately rushing to meet up with the other group if they don't come down to join us.
That said, I think that regrouping would probably be the less risky option, especially if we can heal up Splinter in the same turn that she moves down to meet us. So overall, I'd say it's a question of potential risk vs potential rewards.
If we can heal Splinter this turn, then her group should move down and meet up with us, and we can wait where we are for Comet to come to us next turn. If we can't, then I'm thinking we should probably try to jump Comet while we have the chance, and Splinter's group can either meet up with us or heal up themselves and pursue Valkyrie, whichever option they decide to pursue.

Can we get a definitive answer on whether we can be healed by someone in another room in the same turn we move there? It might make a difference about what we do.
Splinter hesitates as the quadclops disintegrates, looking between the door to the east and her vambraces. If the girls don't act fast, all their efforts fighting Valkyrie so far might be wasted, but in her current state there's no way Splinter can go all out, not without serious risk anyway. There could be anything waiting for them in that room, not to mention the fact that Valkyrie might've found a way to heal herself in the time they've wasted already fighting that monster.
Making sure she's in earshot of the girls in the room, she speaks into her communicator to address the other girls as well.
"We know this room is safe, so all of you to the South can move here, whilst we move East. We'll nuke whatever's in that room then rush back here to regroup, dragging Valkyie along kicking and screaming if we have to. Same rules for attack, where I decided moving towards enemy players shouldn't open you up to attacks for showing initiative. So no, they don't count as being in the next room until the next turn. On one hand I want to play this tactically and that means wither playing hit-and-run strats or trying to just hold my own until Siren, Crimson, and Isabel can back me up. On the other, I kinda wrote Comet into this hunting frenzy and if I wanna play the character she'd be hard pressed to run away until every MG in the room is down Even with the current board state I really don't think I win this fight if I go all in.

Her eyes opened wide, shocked for a few short seconds, but it wasn't long before she regained her composure and opened her own mouth wider in return. Splinter didn't even notice what Cherry was actually doing to her vambraces, at least not right away - and frankly, she didn't care, not when there was something so much more important to focus on.

"We'll get Valkyrie and get back before they even know it. Excellent!" She agreed. A moment later, though, Sparrow suddenly averts her eyes as Cherry kisses Splinter. What is she doing? Right here in the middle of everything, too… she shakes her head, clearing it of the lewd thoughts that begin to sneak into her mind. Try as she might, in the deepest corner of her brain, she knows she wouldn't mind being a part of that. Sparrow loudly clears her throat, making a vain effort to clear the sexual tension.
"I-if y-you're both quite done, we should hunt down the target!" she says, tapping her staff on the ground. She follows Splinter into the next room, the absence of her gauntlets feeling more noticeable as she moves towards danger. Sparrow steels her brow, knowing that there's nothing beyond she can't handle.

The way I see it, there are two things that could happen, Phoenix says fiddling with her radar, Isela and the two lovebirds jump us as soon as we subdue bogey number 1, in which case we're literally gonna get raped, or we follow the forward team and get stuck in a pincer attack between Isela's group, bogey 1 and whatever forward team might be chasing. I say we pick the second option. Is it a good plan? Maybe not. But I like myself a good free-for-all, so I'm going in. Follow me, ladies.
Phoenix turns back for a moment, her gaze stuck on Lily's groin quite unsubtly. Er, lady, and you too. Eh, whatever, let's go.

I'm not sure if wicked decided whether the debuff I apply to enemies with my updated advantage applies only to their attacks against me, or to their attacks against everyone. I know that I only gain a buff against that one particular enemy, just not sure if it has an inverse restriction

Oh, if only I had the energy to help Sparrow before she took off. Maybe, if I could have split it between them…", she trailed off as she looked off at the Eastern doorway. The sudden rise of blushing in her cheeks and her grin threatening to overtake her entire face made it clear she was thinking about it.

I may leave the exact mechanics as a surprise themselves, but I will say I'd been applying it to a room, but now I'm going to apply it to characters. Also, taking a move action won't automatically reset it either, though it may take your risk down. The die is cleared when it hits, or if you encounter a normal enemy or hazard.

Robin Feels her loose hair as she watches the healing session. She doesn't quite know what to think of what she's seeing.

She says, following Splinter and Sparrow into the next room.
As they enter They see a girl with her back turned, sitting in what may be the only upright chair in what appears to be a ruined dining room. Her clothes are seemingly made of leaves.
Further, where the first woman is looking, they spot what at first looks like a gray-skinned woman riding a giant spider like it was some kind of kid's quarter ride. As they get closer, They notice that the woman lacks legs, and the spider seems to have no head, until it becomes clear that they're two parts of the same creature.
A groaning woman is under the Spideress, not hard to recognize as the Silk Valkyrie. The end of the spider-woman's body prods her between the legs occasionally while she's bound in silk threads.
They seem fully distracted by whatever it is they're already doing, but the element of surprise is on the group entering. Soon a set of chains spring from the floor, tangling and coiling around the girl's bodies.
Splinter, Robin, and Sparrow are all ensnared and rendered helpless. The girl In the chair turns to look. Oh, what a treat! I was just enjoying the view. Seems there's more fun to be had now that you've arrived.
She walks up to the group, eyeing each of them carefully.
Now who will I unwrap first? She walks around them slowly as they're forced to struggle, eventually stepping face to face with Princess Splinter. Ah! You. She says, thorned vines shooting from under her Dress.
Silk Valkyrie and her partner seem not to care much about the new arrivals, being more focused oon each other. The Spideress lifts the woman into her arms, having frogtied her. She gives the woman some soft caresses before turning her around and holding her tightly as her fingers dive into her willing captive's slit. The other arm is doing just as much to hold her up as it is to grope an ample breast.

I'm thinking of changing up healing to go bottom-up. Whatever needs the least points first, rather than what needs the most. It kind of makes sense for outfits to regenerate from underwear up instead of the other way around. This may end up being an epic nerf in tandem with requiring full restoration for broken pieces, because the smaller bits will eat up healing first, making it much more likely you won't be able to get your outer layers back without having all the smaller bits already (Especially you Splinter) Unless I still give partials priority. Thoughts? The regen cost multiplier is extra bookkeeping, so I may drop that in favor of this less complicated healing nerf.

By the way, considering that the way the surprise die works has been reworked a few times, I'm starting to think that Lily's Trapfinding ability might need to be changed up a bit, as well. Right now it's seeming a bit underpowered, since it always takes up a turn to use. Perhaps the ability could just be renamed to Trap Sense, and become a passive ability that allows him to more easily avoid traps when moving into a room? It could give him a +2 bonus to Move rolls, perhaps, or just allow him to roll on a different chart with a much lower chance of triggering traps when walking into a room.

Maybe discuss mechanics for a while. We were talking about an extra points system that allows some special actions, and I decided to give it as rewards for lewd content.
I'm thinking fleshing out your actions should generally award a point, though I may want to award less if people are waiting until the deadline to post at all, Ero-Empire was encouraging huge posts and it kind of helped slow the game. Perhaps a point for suggestive banter, (limit 1 per turn) two or three for fleshed-out lewd actions, and five for huge pastes.
On that note, Should I award some retroactively? and what should the points be named? Something like "luck" or "fate" perhaps.
And obviously, we need actions to spend them on. I'm thinking some could be additive actions, letting you power up a standard action, in addition to special moves.

If you're going to give points based on lewd content, perhaps the points should be named something to do with reversal or the like. Most lewd things happen in bad situations, after all.
I'd suggest some special moves as options, but also roll modifiers that have to be used before you roll, a more expensive modifier that can be used after the roll and a total reroll. Maybe just do one of the latter two, having both seems a little much.
As for special moves, I'd suggest a guaranteed Escape and a Flee that prevents damage, along with whatever modifier skills you think might be appropriate.
One last thing, I suggest that if a player doesn't move for three days, their allies should be able to move for them, on a first come first served basis. Waiting around for votes or something wouldn't do anything to speed the game along. Give players the option to remove their girl from this though, in which case they just pass as they have been doing so far.

Substitute orders in for friends has come up a few times now and I think the easiest way to handle it is for someone to request it - if you know you can't make it/or are busy - phone in a quick in 'can someone drive me for a turn please'. Golden rule for games is IC action = IC consequences - its super lame to lose out ic because of OOC stuff - you address both at the level the problems occur at.
I have some pretty good thoughts on the system as a whole but I'm going to be less communicative over the whole weekend. Outing, family drama, family obligations, the works.
As far as strategy, i was kind of hoping you three would choose to go for comet first. I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but converting an enemy - currently - is interesting because from what I saw, attack values for alignments were always 5(maybe 6), so you an guarantee a convert in 2 turns with 3 people and 2 actions left over. Furthermore, its interesting because your attack value doesn't matter - low attack people get to step up and be just as good as the strikers. **
Particularly ballsy moves are to Protect+Energycrystal restore a foe changing sides.
Post-game on this floor, i definitely think it would be helpful to the state of the game and understanding of play for how things work to just…. quicky run the math on a what-if scenario there. no posts/waiting, just a by the numbers 'this would have probably played out like this'.

Inspired by the trapfinding discussion, I was feeling like one of the weaker abilities should probably be reduced in price to 1 point instead of 2 - if its not used frequently, its kinda like …. well, its kinda punishing a player for making a cool choice instead of a good one. (disadvantages are good. They liven things up - you want to include those, don't cheapen them.). On the flipside, i think the biggest way to distinguish between girls areas of expertise would be able pick an action to get better at - some things are tough as a player, and I'd gladly take a +1 to escape checks over an attack or move if it saves me a turn or two.
Flipside, sugar's ally attack buff also led me to that line of thinking: Its actually not that op (50% on 5 base, is 2-3 depending on rounding, 3-4 on 7, and 5 on 11) - this is numbers pretty in line with just… attacking yourself. This power is interesting for two reasons: Its roughly equivalent to a passive saying 'you can attack without breaking protect', but it also gives you more out of it than you put into. IIRC axe hits for 19 on me, 13 normally,so +6 from it(which is round down), which is equivalent to 3 points of attack for an investment of two. THAT's clever, and I wanna see what the players come up with now that New Action Options have been kind of highlighted as good.
Like, one of those things is clearly worth more than the other, yet they cost the same. Just saying. This is kinda getting into feedback i'm holding until after this floor's over, but for mechanics discussion its good food for thought.

Princess Splinter's move here is a good model to work from, the fact that she takes an action while making a suggestion really gives more to work with, because she's already rolled and the other team members know she's going to hit.
Also, you need to 'spirit connect to save a teammate who has lost all their Ali points. (Or fornicate for corrupt side.) Energy crystals give back armor, to protect from corruption in the first place, and also to give their abilities back.
As for some abilities being under-powered or very situational, what about allowing trade-in for something broader.
True, trap sense is useless unless you're moving into a trap room, possibly not worth the points, but what about +2 to all move actions? I'd rather allow less useful abilities and advantages to be upgraded than have some only cost 1, because the that's the can of worms where we have to decide whether every ability/advantage is worth one or two.

The moment the chains bound her, Sparrow began to struggle against them. When she found them unyielding, she retreated into her own mind, focusing her chi. Her subconscious reached out, searching for any weakness, intently focusing on finding a hint of vulnerability in the cold, firm metal. Unable to locate a way out, she bides her time.
Sparrow is shaken out of her meditation when Robin strikes the trap's core. She drops to the ground, stumbling a little as she regains her footing. Finding her staff lying on the floor nearby, Sparrow leaps for it, rolling as the hits the ground and coming up with the long wooden pole lightly balanced in her hands. She glances around at the room, assessing the situation. Splinter appears to be faring very well, taking down the Spideress with a powerful blow. She sees Silk Valkyrie moving away and shakes her head.
"You're not getting away!" Sparrow yells, bounding towards her. She pushes Silk Valkyrie to the ground and pulling away the remains of the spider's threads, exposing her chest to the room. I think the heavy-hitters are after Passion flower to keep the Siren from restoring her plants after she arrives. But don't forget that I added a "block escape" command. it's -2 to escape rolls, and lasts for up to three turns, (including the turn used) if your actions continue targeting the same person.
I had been thinking about adding a roll thing for alignment attacks, Think I'll copy the attack chance table. Won't apply this game unless something brings the climax out of the dining hall though.
But for things that I MIGHT, Cherry Witch has an advantage that might be a bit under-powered, at best it gives a point an a half worth of attack. I'm upping the payout to +2 attack for each 5 alignment lost. Same for Valkyrie's disadvantage that ended up working the reverse.

Don't quite know how to handle that for pvp, that's kind of why I came up with the whole move-interaction thing. (Where normal moves bonus attack on ambush moves, and criticls bonus-hit everything else.)
I'm considering allowing a full bonus action if none of the auto-hit cases come up, but that will get balanced by having low priority (Happens last, just before GM moves.)
I think I'll go ahead and try that, but I don't want it to hold up the game, so you get a chance to take a second action on a crit hit move if it's know there's no auto-hit targets.
If everyone gets their moves in and I process a turn first, the bonus defaults to regular attack on lowest roller, which will be the result if this ends up too niche a case.

Phoenix launches herself into the air and practically divekicks on Valkyrie's prone body, getting in the way between her and the nearest way out, which unfortunately is the one where Isabel's group is coming from. In focusing on keeping Valkyrie contained, she commited the terrible mistake of showing her back to the enemy, a mistake she's reminded of when she feels a pair of disgusting, icky, creepy hands touch her perky B-cups through her thin clothing, making a shudder run down her spine.

Well as it stands, the -2 to escape rolls would remove "move normally" from the die, meaning only a 10 will allow movement without being hit. One number lower and she'd be in the next room converting. But then she'd be able to breed, so maybe it does need to do a flat-out prevent move actions instead of worsening chances.

Also, I've had a little think about how to better balance Explosive Blow for the next floor. I'd say lower the damage to x2 for normal enemies (which should in turn lower the recoil) but also make it so that I take the recoil even if it misses. And make it act slightly differently against other girls, just so it isn't totally worthless then - damage reduced to x1.5, but also do x.25 to the other two hit locations, and take recoil for all damage added together. The vs girls bit might need a little more thought, but it's a start.
Also also, I know it might make things a little more complicated, but I think it would also add more variety if we had more points total to spend in character creation and could have more than one ability (but still only 3 traits/abilities total). But if you think that would be awkward to balance, I totally understand.

I think Wicked forgot all about the regeneration nerfs. Something about 1/4 or 1/2 for recently broken pieces ( some pieces this turn and some last turn). but yeah. Highlight of why % vs flat values is silly right here.
Your team can out-heal her, though: Remember that you can Give Item as a free action - if you don't want to use an energy crystal action yourself, make a friend do it! If you think sugar is OP, that's because nobody's thought to actaully fire one.

Yeah, I think I'll throw some priority into healing discussion. Yeah, we're back to OP healing as of last turn, so let's list off some of the functions/methods I had in mind:
Top-down vs Bottom up
I started with healing going for the big ticket items first, and then whatever there was enough left for. More recently I decided upon turning that around, because the combinations restored upon being converted were weird,(if amusing) and might actually leave you very open to corruption. (Princess Splinter in particular. She'd have 1.05 sensitivity upon a half-transform.)
Full restore required for broken
Basically, a way of making some healing points go to waste. Top-down this wasn't a huge deal, but bottom-up, you're looking at some real difficulty getting your strongest armor back, especially in battle. This is currently not in effect in favor of Isabel's suggestion of having partially restored points be counted, but the part isn't active until it's filled.
Recently Destroyed Penalty
This was looking to be a bookkeeping nightmare, I mean, good idea on paper, but for each individual armor piece to get a tag is a lot to keep up with. Maybe if I simplify it somehow, got an idea in mind. . .
And don't forget that Sugar has had two thirds of her character points dumped into healing, she's going to be potent in any case.

So I'm thinking of simplifying the recently destroyed penalty to a same-turn penalty, costing extra for each armor point restored.
Here is Passion Flower's armor under different penalties, pick the penalty you want, it will apply retroactively. Also, I miss-prioritized the healing, the upper body vines should have regened first anyway.

Besides, she feels more than confident in her ability to bring these villains down. Sparrow didn't like the idea of having to beat down former allies, but if Silver Valkyrie could be slapped back into sense, so could they.

That's essentially the transform action. You can use it without being fully stripped, though strategically you want to do it with low armor so not much potential is wasted. And in that case, I don't see a need to allow other characters to do that for you, if you're in such a state, a fair amount of your stat points and abilities are lost too.

This is true, and you guys don't work together or focus nearly as much as you could - my suggestion way back when for taking them down would be to tackle axe with the capture command, but then we learned players can't use it. What IS the best way to deal with her? Break weapons? Or something like aimed lower body attacks and gamble on the better sensitivity multiplier down there? Figuring out strategy is party of playtesting, but some of it's not obvious.
…. wait, can you use Protect on enemies, and just jump in the middle of axe and sugar? All 'haha, you can't buff or heal me?' Or were you thinking focus all her armor off in one go?
I'll give you gals and guy some insight into what I've noticed
**It takes about 3-4 applications of a touch to turn someone. Sometimes, just going through clothes is worth it to save a turn later, or the flipside: sometimes a 2-point kiss at full armor is enough to finish someone off.
Y'dont have anyone on your team who can heal anymore, except phoenix's one point. Myself, passion flower, and sugar siren are all good targets to steal
When half your team is slightly dinged up, crystal burst is amazing. Cherry and idol have one, splinter has two. When you think about it, two actions to 100% heal your WHOLE team, well, whole is pretty good and a major equalizer. It also shields your corruption tracks, and that's important for enduring this kind of fight. What you can't do is let someone steal them. Scorched earth policy: Use em before you lose em. Having four and no healing means you're kinda on a timer. More on that later.
Someone needs to help idol this turn. Maybe valkyrie or an adopted NPC, or pen in for someone who misses the window due to IRL. Protect and Soul Connect are both good.
If you're losing an ally who's been defeated, two people CAN save them by jumping in - one to protect, one to purify.
Tactical stripping can be semi-advantageous. Soul Connect allows hot team-on-team groping, and more importantly has a large high convert power. It does strip you nude, which makes you a tempting target. I don't think anyone's ever used it, and it has great power to 'tank' your more-dressed friends by healing more than their armor allows through. If you're naked, your armor can't be damaged, AND regular attacks against you just whiff, though this depends on the timing, and can change the focus of the enemy team about too. If your attack or regen items have been broken, its a way to stay useful as alignment attacks don't seem to use attack power at all. And then you can be a huge tease and put your clothes on later, especially if they've healed up.
What else. Just because i'm advocating alignment attacks on targets with armor doesn't mean its a good idea - action efficiency is a thing. You have four turns worth of healing left, so as a rule of thumb I'd aim to get 2 more girls on your side and not lose someone if you wanna come out on top. This is gonna use some teamwork, and you may want to elect a general for your side. Potential courses of action: Aimed lower body + purifying touch. Putting your tanks up front in defensive positions while others keep armor up - better numbers and odds - might take a turn to arrange.
On converting girls: energy crystals are amazing here. a 50% crystal burst plus the 50% on-team-swap heal can get someone back up to usefully full fast. If you trust them, using Transform instead will have them at 100% on their neutral turn, plus the on-swap to patch up any dings taken after

You're slightly outnumbered but you can win. Y'have resources, teamwork, and numbers. Y'need some plan and to stick to it because splitting your attention across the whole thing is going to be the thing that sinks the ship. As far as targeting priorities: Getting passion flower for faster conversion of everyone else is good. She's a perv, and asking/ordering her to soul connecting people still fighting might work. You need to decide if you're fed up with Axe or not: The combo is brittle, they crumple if you apply enough force. You can either deal with her now - 15 points of armor in 3 locations means 3 people with aimed attacks, particularly multi-attackers can send her straight to defeated in one turn, and then she's not a problem - OR you're just going to tank her the entire fight and deal with wonderslice last. Its a possibility because Comet's taunt is amazing and you wants it, or me. Because I have regen four and you also get my advice. You have options, but the point is you have to commit. I am somewhat happy I made you guys angry enough to make some poor decisions, though, so this is my way of saying sorry.
Consider asking your NPC allies to do certain actions. if the team can't be focused, then make the allies pick up the slack. valkyrie's 9 attack is pretty good i you throw them at someone.

I noticed you wanted to jump in, but were torn between fluff and playing smart: I'd like to raise both protect and soul connect to your attention as ways to get involved AND feel like playing to the character*. A note on healing. While it is quite good, a team heavily invested into it has put their points into something that can be taken away, AND more well rounded people are better than they are if those points are useless. The answer to tanking is to break it. Fully stripping an enemy - the Defeated status - makes it so they can't be healed at ALL without an energy crystal. Which they have none of, you have four of or would have to waste 3 turns getting. So… if you took six girls and three a mix of aimed and regular attacks at one person, you could take one person per turn out of the fight for the rest of the fight.

One-shoting Passion Flower was the plan but shit happened and we lost the entire turn. Pretty feel bad. She's still the weakest target, so we need to spend every action we have until we have a confirmed hit on every location. I can heal a bit, and should have gone for that with hindsight being what it is but whatever.
If we want to deal with the two in the corner we do it by tanking an attack from Axe and attacking past her THAT TURN. I take the blame for that screw up last turn, I prioritized wrong. Alternatively, attacking enough to force Protect+Heal will lock them down but we don't have time or dice for that.
As before, Comet's existence might render the whole thing moot.
Did we ever draw a line between character knowledge and player knowledge? Or is it assumed that everything is known information across the board and we can talk about everything?

With some idle thought, I've realized exactly why percentage healing is bad, and consequently how bad it is.
I was somewhat aware that it under-serves low-armor characters, but less that it also over-serves the tanks for the same reason. Let's say that for whatever reason Sugar is trying to heal another squishy 10 armor in battle. 4 points. that barely outpaces base attacks. But then Valkyrie who is tanky at 30 Ap gets 12 points of restoration. Duh, you'd need to dump 5 points into attack to outdo that So basically crimson. How did I not realize this sooner?
Though it's not the healing that's OP, it's the outfits themselves. armor points are divided into three areas, and there are buffers eating up attack points to slow the stripping. The extra layers high-armor players get are a double-dip, triple-dip with the same turn penalty as they'll have stronger layers as well and are more likely to get money's worth for damaged parts rather than waste points ones that are destroyed.
So a nerf or removal for layer buffers is probably in order, as is flat-rate healing. I'm leaning toward going with the result of a 20 armor pool, because that's what you get if you spread stat points evenly without spending on positive traits, or cancel out the cost with a disadvantage. 2AP in battle, 5 out of battle per point.
And I'm thinking of cutting the buffer down to 2 for now, I'll leave you to decide how soon all of this gets implemented. the 2x penalty for same-turn healing will probably even out the buffer, as I plan heal priority to not work around it.

If girls aren't doing enough damage to get through basic healing, they aren't doing enough damage. Move basic damage for everyone from 3 to 5. You want odd numbers vs typically even amounts of armor. 4 maybe a possibility, playtest first.
Regen can't be used two consecutive turns in a row. This means your actually can open a hole and stick things in it instead of it being closed immediately.
Destroyed clothing can't be repaired that turn. No math, no multipliers, no healing penalties. If someone shreds it, its gone until next turn. This also solves issues of top down and bottom up just by making healing trickle to every other piece available.
Restoring a destroyed piece of clothing takes 1 or 2 extra point of regen to rematerialize it. This should fix layering and encourage people to cut down on it a bit. Armor + underwear is ideal. Isabel's lower body is a perfect example of what this change would effect.
Keep the 'must be fully restored before coming back' mechanic.
reminder that some sort of break-through for cleaving multiple pieces was put in place last thread - i forget details - but that should still be a thing under new system too.

There's relativity involved, since someone who dumped a lot of points into healing should certainly outpace someone with no attack boosts. Per character point though, it's two points each, with the base attack giving attacks a head start.

Yeah, heals every turn prevent groping, so having to do something else every other turn could help change things up.
Though mathematically that cuts it's potential in half, so in that case it could stand to go higher numerically to compensate. If attack outpaces it by too much it becomes useless. Upping it to 4 and 10 while raising innate attack to five could keep it useful while attack stays ahead.

3 people if we hit. Aimed attacks are more likely to miss ironically, which means that the odds suggest it would take 4 people to take her out, and that would put Idol in a lot of danger. And even if we do take her out, unless we block her escape and turn her right away, she's just going to flee anyway, which is more just irritating than anything.

It's also unclear how dangerous her tangle ability is and I'd rather not find out. 3 of 7 attacks need to land (3 of 8 if Binary Fire works the way I want it to) to knock her out of regen range. Not entirely sure, but a protect lasts for 3 turns so its not entirely wasted. We moved to the current system(whatever it is), because the enemy girls acted at the END of turn, after everyone else had put orders in, so they had perfect information and could always take the best course of action, which was more than a little lame since they ALSO had perfect teamwork due to being played by the gm.
anyway, as for my turn, I'm sorry for a double-whammy of potential turn invalidating, but THIS RIGHT HERE is why soul connect needs to return as an offensive option, By my figuring, power 3 and a 3x multiplier( +/- sensitivity, but it sounds like it autohits?) is 9 corruption, which is a regen-level problem for a tug of war,.
Here's tactical homework for everyone's consideration: Two enemy girls love each other very, very much, and soul connect/fornicate with each other every turn. How many attackers using a far weaker corrupting/purifying touch does it take to turn them? How many does it take to break even? How many turns/actions does it take overall?

I'm not sure what you mean by having moved to the current system, the enemy girls still get the advantage as far as I can tell. We might, for example, use four girls to turn a corrupt MG and then have the rest do something else, only to have the enemy invalidate it by using soul connect in response. But as far as I can tell, there's no way to avoid this kind of reactionary gameplay without having all the pure girls talk privately and then both sides announcing their moves at the same time, which would be rather impractical.
I'm not complaining, mind you, just pointing it out. The idea of a beta is to see what needs tweaking and figuring out exactly how it all plays out after all.
Also, I might as well say this though I'm sure I'll be shot down completely on it: I almost feel like Regeneration should be removed altogether. I think it might be obvious from the way my character is designed, but I'd rather either win fast or lose fast, not slowly grind it out. This is meant to be a vehicle for roleplaying after all. But hey, that's just me, I don't expect an entire mechanic to suddenly be dropped like that.
One other observation, though it probably doesn't need stating - almost all of the issues have become apparent since this big battle started. The system seems to work great for small fights, but not so well for large scale ones. Not really sure how to fix it myself honestly, just thought it was worth noting. It's not like the game could be restricted to small fights all the time, after all.

The "free attack" could be removed by causing it to take effect the turn after it's used, and then maybe you get a forced opening every fourth turn by disallowing use on an already protected target, meaning there's a turn of vulnerability before protection can be renewed.

As for removing regen outright, I feel like that's more fitting for both the roleplay aspect and the overall tone. You're right about slow being bad here. Maybe increase armor values slightly across the board and add some number of lives/transformations remaining? Energy Crystals healing is fine, makes them feel special. They should be multitools though, more choices are fun. This would be a pretty radical change, so let's wait a bit.

The only reason it slows the game down is because it was poorly thought out at start. Its a cool, fitting power to have, its just, well… it kind of needs to allow 'turn 1 attack, turn 2 purify' WITHOUT regen turning it into a wow raid. It ALSO needs to support 'girla attack + girlb purify' teamwork coordination.(vs, say, girlc protecting girld regenning girlc) The more interesting parts of the system aren't from tanking attacks fully; its about who can weather the corruption better - hit better locations, grope through weaker armor - the major mistake was thinking of healing like an MMO. That's why >>58049 needs to go in without being dumbed down.
Now, the 2v2 example: Attack+corrupt teamwork vs defend+heal turn 1, and then on turn 2 of the same,regen is still useful because it heals LAST turn's damage without cockblocking players from feeling useful THIS turn. That is - to make both those examples work, it kind of needs to both happen last in the turn, and not be able to affect attacks that just occured the same turn. I think wicked is overreacting on the flat vs % type a tad, because it should reward girls who put more points into armor - as its ALL they get - but I think the solution there isn't doubling its out-of-combat healing, its halving its in-combat healing and some flat-tax to remove destroyed.

You say that, but attacking Passion Flower still sounds like a much better plan to me. Completely removing her from the picture seemed pretty likely, which would prevent her from healing, tangling or corrupting at all. Meanwhile, we were very unlikely to take out Crimson, which would've just meant her being healed so she takes longer anyway and Flower would be free to do whatever. Sure, attacking Crimson seemed obvious at one point, but the decision to target Flower was made after everyone else's rolls had already turned out fucked. I'm still not convinced not attacking Flower was a good idea.

I was more thinking of it as a quick way to bring the current test-run of the game to a close that would be both entertaining and satisfying to everyone, to be honest. We've already found out enough the current ruleset's flaws from this one combat that our GM is currently trying to completely redesign the game, and has even made another thread on /tg/ asking for help on that front. Regardless of whether we win or lose in the end, it's basically going to be a long, boring slog to get there, especially if the dice don't cooperate.
Basically, we've already determined that there are major flaws with the current ruleset that need to be addressed. At this point, I'm kind of not really seeing why we're still forcing ourselves to use it.

Character creation would be a fairly simple matter. You just need to give your character a Name, pick the Theme that her costume and magical abilities follow, select three Specialties that represent specific skills or traits she possesses that aren't covered by her Theme, and then set Corruption and Indecency to 1.
As for actually participating in the game, that's as easy as figuring out what action you want your character to perform, and then figuring out how many dice to roll for it.
- You get to roll 1d6 if the action you're attempting to perform is within human capabilities.
- You get to roll 1d6 if your Theme and/or one of your Specialties would help you perform the action.
- You get to roll one purple Corruption d6 if you're willing to risk your character's purity in order to succeed, or if the GM tells you to roll it.
- You get to roll one pink Indecency d6 if you're willing to risk your character's dignity in order to succeed, of if the GM tells you to roll it.
The highest-rolling die is what you use for your final result, and if the highest-rolling die is either your Corruption or your Indecency die, you have to roll against either your Corruption or Indecency and try to roll equal to or under your current score. If you roll above your current score, your Corruption or Indecency goes up by one.
Another advantage to using Cthulhu Dark is that writing up the rules would involve just taking the text in the currently-existing rules pdf and altering it to reflect our own rules changes. Half the work is already done, there, and it's laid out in a nice, easy to understand manner.
