Chihiro is like, everywhere. I've been the dude pop up on so many guestbook pages and friends lists of people I'm interested in. He approaches me every time I'm online, too. I don't mind him, considering he's low-maintenance (read: doesn't care when I ignore him), in fact, he's pretty okay if you want to do 2-4 sentence rapid-fire posts.

My friend's list is mostly bookmarks, as I have a bad habit of adding anyone who has any sort of interesting idea I want to incorporate or just masturbate to. I've actually played with 'some' of them before, though.
No.65026
Is there some sort of stigma against bookmarking people?
No.65028
>>65026
I don't fucking know. I had three friends on Danalia, solely because I couldn't bookmark them. Otherwise, I had them bookmarked.
But from what I've heard, a lot of people bookmark others like, 500+ at a time, which is just absurd.I know rather bluntly if I'm going to play with someone or not. If not, they don't get bookmarked.
No.65031
>>65026
Not if you act upon it.
Ever had a profile with like 80 bookmarks and get maybe one or two people approach you? Or get those people who message you with "Hey I have you bookmarked!" then you never hear from them again?
It's pretty frustrating to get little play on a character but see that you have a ton of bookmarks from potentially good partners.

Not really, somewhat, and yes. Simultaneously.
No, in that a bookmark's just yet another tool of keeping track of somebody you might want to interact with later. What's the harm?
Somewhat, in that on the web client, a bookmark is the only way you have of saving someone for later, unlike slimCat which has the "Interesting" list (and which I use with a vengeance). I personally regard a bookmark as the same thing as friending someone, but then again that's how I keep things sorted out in my head.
Yes, in that it's not uncommon for some people to complain that they got 9999 bookmarks, but nobody messages them. I too find it to be a sad state of affairs.
No.65116
>>65026
Since there's no ability to see who's bookmarked you so you could potentially investigate and see if the placeholder interest numbers are worth it / say "what's up" to the bookmarketeers? Yeah. There's a stigma.
No.65147
I used to have about 40 bookmarks, but virtually no approaches. I suspect that they were just folks jerking it to my profile, so I turned off bookmarks for a few days, then turned it back on. I don't believe any of them bookmarked me again, as I only have 2 now, and those were added while I was updating my profile heavily.
No.65162
>>65147
When you turn off bookmarks it doesn't alert the people who had you bookmarked previously, so chances are they just haven't noticed yet. Or if they have they can't find you again.

Nightmarity, I usually don't do fur or pony stuff but it was kind of an interesting profile, a lot of enthusiasm, too. He seems to difficult to please to be a usual partner.

Is there a story behind this? Cass seemed funny for the brief time that we interacted together before she stopped replying to me.
No.65345
>>65343
If I'm not mistaken Cass has gone thorugh like, 3-4 Demon Succubi's and bails on everyone each time 'cause muhh emotions'. At least from what I've seen of the profile threads where she apologies to everyone on repeat. Leaves, doesn't respond to a large amount of /erp/ers, comes back. Acts all apologetic and does it again a few months later whilst /erp/ suckles on her nuts because she's so neat. But, that's only the impression I've gotten from the board itself. Hell if I'm asking.
No.65347
>>65345
Well, this gives me some perspective. She approached me for a note play, bailed out a few notes into the scene, and said she was having bad issues IRL when prompted. Then she never resumed again, even after I contacted her and made it clear I was still interested.
I didn't think it was terribly unusual but if it's a repeating pattern, that's just plain annoying.

Cass has a super shitty life that trends towards getting worse just as it looks to get better, and Alcohol is how she copes.
Though she does purge characters every now and then, she wont delete Cass anymore because she has a couple people she seems to actually like enough that even drunken thinking won't allow her to delete the character again
Least I hope. I pity her situation because I've sorta been there, but she's honestly not that bad a person OOCly.
The character is an abrasive bitch in the best ways, though~

I really like Cass.
Always happy when she gets on even though I can't get to her each time because a lot of my own lurking time is spent only half on F-List while I'm doing work.
I met her on my birthday actually, back when her profile was only around 400-600 views maybe?
I've always thought of her as a true little present, regardless of how sappy that may seem.
Anyway, she's a very valiant knight, and I'm glad to have met her.
