"This will be the first time some of you see battle, but keep your wits about you and you should do fine."

The Silver Valkyrie said as she approached a mansion on the outskirts of Connection City. The abandoned estate was full of monsters. The valkyrie considered it a chance for some of her students to practice on real targets. Little did she know that something more potent than she expected was lurking inside.

This is the recruiting and game thread or the new run of "Empress Calista's Tower" a lewdgame about magical girls fighting monsters, getting violated when they fail, and potentially becoming corrupt girls bent on dragging their former allies along to their fate.

For those loosely following, this run will use a simpler and more RP-focused d6 system adapted from Cthulu Dark.

The current plan is to have a two check-in system. First, there will be about a week for players to submit characters, which will be looked over. After that probably a shorter period for accepted characters to join the setting. Joining on the second pass is first-come first serve, with a cap of eight players. Characters accepted but cut-off by deadline or player cap will have a chance to swap in if a player is idle for eight days.

Character submission

To submit your character, reply to THIS post with a post describing your character, followed by a list of game attributes:

Magical Theme: The particular flavor of magic and abilities your character has. This should clearly define what type of powers your character has.

Specialties: Normal human traits or skills. Your character will have three. These should be things not dependent on magic, and useful in specific situations, not in all cases.

It's strongly encouraged to attach an image to represent your character. If you can't find an existing image you find fitting, I recommend using dress up games like the following:

Here's my character up for review. Lemme know if anything needs changing

Picture is just a placeholder till I feel like drawing

Mahou Star (Real name: Rachel Mayes)

Theme: Black Magic

Corruption: 1

Indecency: 1

Addiction: 0

Specialties

-Small Figure: "I'm serious, I'm in my third year in high school! Why doesn't anyone believe me?"

-Sticky Fingers: "… Sorry. Force of habit."

-Sharp Mind: "After dealing with your fair share of devils, normal people all start to sound like toddlers when they try to lie."

Formerly an antagonist in Connection City, though more of a pesky troublemaker than a villain, this little witch has since stepped up to the plate to protect the city from more serious dangers. Since her beloved black cat familiar, Friskers, was banished to the gap between dimensions, Mahou Star has taken it upon herself to accept formal training from the Silver Valkyrie instead of relying merely on what she learned in dusty old tomes. Even while doing good, Rachel can be a bit of an imp, playing pranks on her teammates or "borrowing" things when she thinks nobody's looking. She's still very motivated by self-interest at times.

Star's offensive capabilities are manifested in a deck of enchanted trading cards with devils and spirits sealed inside, though Silver Valkyrie has replaced it with an entirely blank deck save for one card, an aggressive spirit raven named Poe (for Star's own safety, or so she says). He might even make a half-decent familiar if he was smarter, but he's really just a cantankerous jackass. When the situation calls for a bit more finesse, Star can use her key-shaped rod to cast the Lock of Solomon. The powerful restraining magic gives her partners plenty of opportunities to strike, or try to reason with her captive. Additionally, she collects magic items that catch her fancy, her favorites being a magic compass that points to things you want (useless for Star unless she's unusually focused one one thing) and a Hand of Glory in the form of a stylish leather glove.

While she has a number of good, honest friendships in her new life of do-gooding, she'll stop at nothing to find Friskers again.

I'll be bringing back my character from the last version of the game, since he was rather fun to play.

Lily Pure Samurai

Theme: Samurai

Corruption: 1

Indecency: 1

Addiction: 1

Specialties:

- Finding and Disarming Traps

- Being a Trap (aka Pretending to be a Cute Girl)

- Surprisingly Well-Endowed

As in the previous game, Lily is a male student from the magical knight school across town who disguised himself as a magical girl and snuck in after his sister's mysterious disappearance. He's serious, dutiful, and rather easy to blackmail into things if you know his secret.

Wait now I'm confused, does Addiction start at 1 or 0? I don't think I actually saw it explicitly mentioned in the rules, so I assumed it'd start at 0 since we'd have had no contact with the addicting forces in the tower

except Lily, but I'm sure she went through a long, slow and tender "purification"

Gotcha, will this do?

Anya is a specialist in Connection City's military force. She is part of a unit that trains magical girls to engage in combat. With reports about a mansion full of monsters, her Lieutenant thought it'd be a good testing ground for Anya to apply her skills. He has since transferred her to further train with the Silver Valkyrie, hearing good things about her reputation.

Anya is a loyal soldier, valuing duty and camaraderie. She hopes to succeed in her mission to bring glory to her unit.

The scale starts at 1, partly because on an actual tabletop, the die would be used to remind players of the current value.

And I'm leaning towards retcon back to start for this round actually.

>>64720

That's good, and it's reminding me the newcomers won't have a good picture of what the Silver Valkyrie is like:

A woman who was a famous magical girl in her youth, the Silver Valkyrie vanished after a conflict with Queen Misery, who led an army of magical outcasts who took control of Connection City.

Her memory of her powers and her exploits as the Silver Valkyrie were sealed as the city was rendered a relatively safe area. She since started a family, more recently recovering her memories when she instinctively summoned her powers to protect her daughter from a monster attack.

Currently, she mentors younger magically gifted girls with her experience.

Honestly, I kind of wonder why you'd put something like bust size into your traits rather than adding it as a note in your general description, but hey, you're the ones who will have to think of a way that those things would sensibly aid one of your rolls.

You can go ahead and change it if you didn't at first understand what it was for, just remember to point to your first character post when you do so, and get it in before the game starts.

Deadline/game opening will be about 04:00 UTC Jan 25th.

Figure I'd throw my hat back in. If we hit the cap and someone else wants in I can sit on the sideline for now.

Electric Idol

Theme: Lightning

Corruption 1

Indecency 1

Addiction 1

Specialties

-Escape Artist

-Artifact Expert

-Dancer

Electric Idol grew up reading about other lands and ancient civilizations, influenced in no small way by her archaeologist father. Soon her shelves filled up with trinkets and gifts from his expeditions, and her vacation time filled up with visits to wherever he was that month (staying in the safety of the campsite, of course).

A few poorly planned battles have led to El being a bit too critical of herself. In battle she looses bolts of lightning from a distance, but shifts to electricity-enhanced melee combat in dire situations.

Probably because you included "Has Large Breasts" as an example trait in the rules doc

Though my character is just small in general in addition to being flat. She'll probably be able to do things like wriggle out of holds, fit through narrow openings and hide in places too small for the average person

 No.64765

>>64704

Ah, knew I forgot something. That'll teach me not to post at 5 AM.

Also clearly having large breasts help act to reduce impact from blows (or I could have just needed a placeholder because I was tired and wasn't certain if 'strong willed' would have folded into the theme since emotion powered chicanery.)

As for the description:

>>64701

To say Midori was an average high school student would be accurate in terms of performance and grades and little else. A devout otaku who's primary hobby is designing her own costumes and getting her friends to model them, her wild imagination and boundless energy led her to be scouted for a secret project dedicated to protecting humanity from the forces of darkness. To this end she was granted the Blaster Dynamo, an experimental device that converts strong emotion into magic and grants the user incredible physical strength and durability. The stronger the emotion the more potent the effect and different emotions affect it in various ways; anger generates more powerful, but unstable offensive manifestations but makes defensive abilities harder to maintain, fear causing barriers to manifest almost reflexively in the face of danger, and so on. With the sudden disappearances surrounding the mansion and reports of evil lurking within, it was deemed a perfect site for a proper field test of the device and Midori’s capabilities as its controller.

Yeah, I should have gone and changed that earlier, but you'll have to ask Lily's player why it's there in the first place.

I was planning on giving a thorough pass of everything and making adjustments like that, but I'm a perfectionist and take forever to settle on a wording. Gonna double down on that now.

>Yeah, I should have gone and changed that earlier, but you'll have to ask Lily's player why it's there in the first place.

I was mostly thinking of it as a trait that might be added to a roll when taking more sexual actions, really. Perhaps it might help when Taming a monster that's got a thing for large breasts, or perhaps it could be put to use when Drawing on Corruption or Purging Corruption, or helping out another Magical Girl who might be in the middle of doing the same.

It probably would be a good idea to replace it with something less sexual and more adventure-related, like Lockpicking, though, since it seems to have left some people confused.

Isabel

Theme: Demonslayer (van helsing style)

Appearance: Hooker-Heroine. A pretty girl in boots.

Specialties:

Sexy Sorcery (its indecently strong)

Personal experience with the Darkness/Corruption. (she knows it better than most, its ins and outs and uses)

Corruption: 1

Indecency: 1

A demonslayer with a BIG secret(semi-secret, now really), Isabel is a warrior with initimate familiarity of the darkness and corruption the girls fight against, but it comes with complications and unnatural urges.. and as some of her teammates are discovering, haunted private parts. A transfer student, her boards and swords have found a place among the others to smite evil and have fun at the Academy.

>I'm a touch hung up on the third specialty - I'm open to suggestions, here.

Well, you could always think of it from the perspective of the things you'd be good at while out of uniform. So far, while de-transformed or stripped completely naked, you've got the ability to cast spells and a knowledge of corruption that could be useful in the tower. What third thing do you think you'd be good at that has nothing to do with your magical girl identity? You might be a fast runner, you could be an escape artist, you could be good at baking or gambling… Anything you can come up with, really.

 No.64889

MY first thought was that I'd just have to get REALLY creative witch scenarios, but then I realized it's on the player's part to declare them as helpful to their current roll.

Physical traits like "tall" or "petite" work pretty well, as the former would be good for climbing, while the other can fit in small spaces easily, just for example. Another would be blocking a doorway or dashing in under a monster to grab something at it's feet respectively.

But big boobs seems pretty limited, specifically to "shake them to draw attention."

At least till I remember the corruption purging mechanic. Well, I guess I'd sum up my suggestion to players as this:

Remember that you're the one that will have to justify how your traits give you a competency die when your magical powers are unfitting or unavailable.

I'm going to adjust that section of the rules a little.

Emerald Dragon (aka Maya Fengzhuo)

Theme: Chinese Kung-Fu

Corruption: 1

Addiction: 1

Specialties-

-Runs Like a Madwoman ("An order on the other side of the city? No problem, I'm on it!")

-Animal Friend ("Good doggy! Good do-Hey, where are you licking?")

-Pinyin: ('"'不好翻译中国语!"'')

A practitioner of an unorthodox branch of magic that combines standard spellcasting, Confucian qi manipulation and mundane martial arts, Emerald Dragon was one of Connection City's most notorious "irregulars", magical girls that took no sides in the ongoing conflicts and infamous for usually being nothing but rogues and swindlers.

Emerald was half one, half the other, half vigilante, working as a night-time delivery girl at her family's Chinese restaurant and pummeling thugs and stray monsters into dirt while she was at it, casually disregarding any and all of Connection City's laws against magic abuse and drawing the ire of the magical girl council.

That ended when Silver Valkyrie dragged her into the fold… somewhat forcefully. Emerald doesn't speak of what happened, but she falls in line quite nicely now.

Healer (I'll help if I can)

Defensive Magic (I don't want anyone to get hurt)

Stealth (I'm a bit shy, I'll be over in the shadows)

A student of magic of only a few years with little field experience she lacks confidence and looks up to other magical girls as respectable role models. She's self sacrificing and eager to assist others. She prefers peaceful solutions but knows that violence can be necessary. She's also quite sexually naive, sexual undertones or people's lewd intentions go right over her head.

Well, for starters, you could use a magical made-up name (going around advertising your real name to evil rapemonsters is a bad idea) and a couple more lines in her background. Also, this might sound rude and it's just my opinion in particular, but the s-s-stuttering "don't want no trouble" shy character is bloody overdone. You're no f-list rando, you definitely can do better than that, sister.

Mine is nowhere near perfect, maybe just barely good, but I believe it's a good place to start off from. Otherwise, Lily and Isabel are veterans of lewd megucaing so they should know how about to do these kinds of things.

Yeah, you're a bit off-theme here. Your primary should be a themed set of abilities rather than a single power, and include a magical outfit that gets torn up as the game goes on.

After some thought to muse on it, I realized that monster hunting isn't just about brawlin and magic, one of the things that makes a slayer a slayer is learning monsters weaknesses, studying ways to beat them by being better and smarter - with your brain - since a big bad evil ork or whatever's gonna be physically stronger no matter what, you gotta work with your other assets.

Thinking back on interactions last game, I think the biggest impression you gals made on me was liking the way isabel looked and dressed (seroiusly, it came up a few times independantly! must be doing SOMEthing right).

So i think the best way to tie that together is 'Hot foreign student'.

The silver Valkyrie leads the way into the entry hall. Assorted end-tables, and decorations like broken vases with long-wilted flowers dot the hallway. This first room seems fairly empty, though noise from the infesting monsters echoes from the doorways nearby. A large formidable-looking door sits opposite the entrance, seeming a lot newer and of a different style than the rest of what's present, covered with vines, though the Valkyrie doesn't seem to take note of it.

"Well, let's set up a safe area, never know when something might come our way."

Blue Cleric, one of the Valkyrie's students sets to creating a barrier that covers most of the room, with it's boundary at the doorways.

"All set Miss- uh. . ." She starts, seeming at a loss for what to say next.

"Call me Valkyrie out here, And that goes for the rest of you, code names everyone. With that, let's begin the extermination. I'll be waiting here in case any of you have trouble early on, call if you need help."

How to take a move: Decide what die you're using, and list them at top, ideally bolded.

Try to keep a consistent pattern of Normal, Competency, Risk Add the needed die to your post under post options, and include a narration or summary of the action you are attempting.

Your goals for this floor will be left somewhat mysterious, all the more to fuel roleplaying and investigation.

Sorry, totally forgot to make Icons for everyone, mention preferred symbol in the OOC thread if you have one, and add your preferences to the document ASAP So i know what you do and don't want your character to encounter.

Detecting Curse: Normal/Competency/Risk

Star looks around mournfully at the ruined antiques as she steps carefully through the dusty room, the cat bells lining the hem of her cloak (added by Silver Valkyrie, again, allegedly for Star's safety) jingling with each step. Looking down at them in annoyance, she snaps her fingers to cast a cantrip and they all go silent.

"Right then… This deserves a look-at."

Making her way across the hall of the foyer, she approaches the out-of-place door, looking it up and down carefully. Reaching into the bag over her shoulder, she finds a shimmering amethyst crystal on a chain, a cheap curse-detector, and motions it before the door.

"What's your game, door? Why do you want to be noticed?"

Yank Vines: Normal/Competency/Risk

"Seems like a pretty big place for a simple field test." Midori mumbled to herself as she stretched, getting used to the snugness of her attire; it was skin tight and perhaps a bit showy but thankfully nothing seemed to be riding up just yet and in her training runs she had found it to be durable enough, "Ah well, the bigger it is the more impressive it'll be to topple over I guess." This time she spoke aloud, chuckling excitedly as she adjusted the translucent crystal bands fastened around her wrists, both giving a flash followed by a briefly visible rippling wave of gold light washing over her.

"The Blaster Dynamo seems to be working fine, so I guess it's time to get to work!"

With that she set off down the hallway, coming up close behind Mahou Star and reaching out to give the vines covering the door a sharp, experimental tug in the hopes that her enhanced strength would be enough to pull them away from the suspicious door, "Here, let me check it out!"

Hope I did this right as well!

Move Southeast: Normal/Competency/Risk

Lily was already on-guard as the group of magical girls first entered the mansion, a hand constantly resting on the hilt of his sword as he looked around the entry hall. A magical barrier had already been erected over the entry hall, keeping the place clear of enemies and safe from the influence of foreign magic, but beyond the side doors in that hallway, the sounds of a variety of monsters prowling the halls was unmistakable. They were in enemy territory, and it would pay to be cautious.

Still, this was only the beginning of the extermination, and right now, everyone was still figuring out who would go where and what they would each focus on first. The large door at the end of the hallway was certainly an attention-grabbing feature of the room, but since the samurai saw two of his fellow classmates already heading to inspect the doorway, he elected to leave it in their no-doubt capable hands and turn his own attention elsewhere.

They were here to slay monsters, and since the monsters were all in the rooms beyond the entryway…

"I'll take this door to the south-east," He announced, mostly so that anyone who cared to keep track of everyone's movements would know where he was headed. Aiming for the very first door on the right, his plan was to start working his way around the mansion's outer edges and then turn his attention to the rooms in the center afterwards, and after drawing his sword, he threw open that first door and stepped out into the dark corridors beyond.

Admittedly, he didn't really have much in the way of magical skills. Mostly just the ability to summon weapons and armor and boost his own physical abilities, though he could manage a sort of 'beam slash' spell if he had no other options for fighting an enemy at range. Those same magical abilities did serve him well in surviving to close the gap with his enemies, though, and he would count on them now as as he kicked the door open and stormed into the room, blade once again at the ready.

Emerald winces at the catwoman's claw strike. In a stroke of bad luck, her monster's slash hits the chest bindings of her qipao, making her D-cups spill out of her clothing.

"Fucking-!" She slides out of the way for Midori to blast the catwoman to pieces and stays behind to fix up her clothes, wandering about in a rape pit with your tits hanging out is a bad idea.

"Heya ladies. Fashonably late. So, what'd I miss?" she says with a grin as she follows up El and Midori.

"Righto. Never say I don't pull my weight."

Emerald moves to face the gigantic slug, drawing its attention. She dodges a slow-arcing ball of caustic slime, accidentally stepping on a puddle of the nasty stuff.

"OK, I'm so not touching that thing, time for plan B. You know," she says with a toothy grin at nobody in particular, "they didn't come up with Emerald Dragon for nothing." She draws a long breath, inhaling the purplish miasma of the mansion into her lungs, and her canine teeth grow into giant fangs for a split second as the air in her throat ignites before being launched at the slug as a great gout of flame.

Trying to figure out what's up with the corruption flowers: Normal/Risk (Corruption)

"True, and I wouldn't be surprised if she tried it one of these days," Lily agreed with Isabel, chuckling a bit at the thought. When Silver Valkyrie called in, he had a slightly more in-depth explanation for her than Strelka had provided. "We encountered some sort of fleshy tentacle-monster-thing with flowers growing out of it that were similar to the ones on the door, Ms. Valkyrie. Both the flowers and the monster proved vulnerable to fire. Perhaps the vines blocking the door are connected to this other type of plant we've stumbled across?"

It was only speculation, of course. His own magical senses weren't that well-developed, so he didn't stand much chance of being able to discover something like that on his own.

Although, maybe it wouldn't hurt to try reaching out with them for a bit, and seeing what he could detect…

The slug slowly writhes until it's body is reduced to a dry rubbery lump. The kitchen lies still, and a good look around turns up only broken dishes and scattered pans. Visible dust seems to flow continuously from the west door, and from the north comes some intimidating footfalls.

>>65524

>>65525

The wording in the source rules is wonky, "if your insanity die rolls higher than any other die." But I'm taking that to mean it has to be absolutely the highest die, not a tie. Therefore, corruption check is cancelled.

The fleshy creature seemed to only grow around the plant, not actually being part of it but sprouting in a dusty ring of pollen circling around where the plant stood. The plant's actually roots run a little deep, but visibly curve towards the center of the mansion under where it breaks through the flooring. Curtains are drawn back around it's corner, giving it plenty of sunlight where it sat, though it's would-be protector seemed to sprout in it's own shade.

Sic Crow on Bush: Normal/Competency/Risk

Star admittedly had been bluffing about her threat of a firebolt, which is not her most adept magic by far, but that was of no consequence. It was still just an uppity weed. Seeing the binds emerge from the floor and clasp around her first irritant, she makes a short jump back and gives a quick spin, her cloak and skirt flying up with a flourish as she reorients herself, a scuffed and scratched bit of cardstock in her hand.

"Servant, come to the master! Poe!"

The card erupts with a flashy spark as it transforms into a crow with a pentacle charm hung around its neck, circling gracefully around Star as he awaits instruction.

"Give 'im shit!" Star commands, pointing at the bush. Acknowledging her with a caw that emits some dangerous-looking sparks, it gives a flap and darts forward.

Worth noting, Poe is an unruly sort and doesn't always listen, so interpret that as you will when it comes to dice failures.

Attacking Roots: Normal/Competency/Risk (Corruption)

Midori holds her hand closer to her mouth to keep from gasping at the sudden swat, shooting Emerald a look even if she had already jumped headlong into the fray. With a roll of her eyes she took a deep breath through her palm, hoping to filter out most of the pollen before lowering it to crack her knuckles, they'd have time to talk about this when they weren't choking on some kind of weird evil pollen.

She glanced quickly between the burning plant, the flower covered roots, and the mostly intact plant giving a slight grin as she lunged into action, energy enveloping her fists as she lunged at one of the root clusters closest to the burning one. With a dramatic swing of her arms the energy stretched and warped, lashing out in a pair of cutting blades as she spun towards her target, hoping the guardian was too damaged to offer a counter attack, "Cross Divid-urk!" A slight misjudgement, the the verbal component of her attack suddenly leaving her with a mouth full of pollen and forcing her to hold back a coughing fit as she whirled past the roots.

Attacking Bee-Woman: Normal/Competency/Risk

If Lily had been fighting alone, this room would have made for a tough battle. Vines on the wall were already moving to grab him the instant he entered into the room, and a bee-like humanoid creature lifted off from the ground as soon as it noticed him, catching him in an attack from two sides at once. He would have had to fend them both off at once, or more likely, he would have had to turn to one of them (likely the vines) and leave himself open to attack from the side he wasn't defending.

Fortunately, however, the effeminate samurai was not alone. He made sure to toss Isabel a grateful smile as she moved up to take on the vines at his flank and, sword at the ready, he lashed out with a fierce counter-stab, as soon as the buzzing bee-woman stepped within range.

Breathing quick shallow breaths she braces for the worst only to be greeted - and overwhelmed by - a heavy, floral scent. Feeling her stress evaporate with each inhalation she picks herself back up, bursts of electricity snapping erratically all over as she becomes acclimated to the environment. This isn't so bad, is it?

>>65759

"hu..?" Another flash from Midori brought her back to Earth. "We're almost there! Take it down!" Putting herself between Midori and the guardian, she leaps in for a lightning-charged kick at the thrashing tree's leafy bits.

Finish the job (hopefully): Normal/Competency/Risk (Indecency)/Corruption Check(?) Check wasn't prompted but the purple is still there so I'm assuming it's still a danger zone.

She gave a ragged cough, sweat dripping over her features and soaking through her suit, a faint peach tint showing through not semi-transparent white. It was hard not to breath in the spores, each breath making her dizzy, stumbling a bit as she came to a stop at the end of her most recent attack, "Just a little more…" She grit her teeth, ready to launch into another attack when she heard Mahou's report.

She wasn't certain whether to feel happy about this news or not, on the one hand they weren't destroying former innocents that had fallen to the place's influence… But the bit about what was giving birth to them made her cheeks go pink even as a chill ran down her spine, "Gotta end this quickly… Get those girls out of here." She stated, a sudden surge of zeal flowing through her as she lunged at the last vine with one last, rather reckless, burst of energy intent of cutting through the roots and hopefully killing whatever was spreading the pollen.

One more try before I just throw my hands up, hopefully this doesn't end up a triple post of the same thing.

Emerald staggers a bit, the plant holding fast despite being burned and slashed. What are these damn things made of? Her arms are tired and she's running out of breath from holding it in for so long. The pollen that's filtering into her lungs isn't helping, blocking her airways and flooding her mind with… thoughts. Bad thoughts.

>>65845

That's when Star's voice comes from the communicator. Mothers? So they chain girls up and make them give birth to these nasties? "Beats being used as fertilizer. Not by much, though, I'd hate to meet -these- guys' dads." she spits out a dark joke, unsure if anyone can hear her.

That's enough playing. Charging her strenght to the maximum, Dragon slips underneath the monstrous plant's remaining tendrils and grabs it by the stem with all of her strenght, of body, mind and soul, trying to uproot it outright.

With a final strike, the plant in the center of the wall finally seems to wilt, and stops it's continual shedding of corrupted pollen.

The air remains heavy with the pollen, though it might air out before too long.

"Alright, whatever you did back there worked, this door is falling apart, regroup so we can see what's waiting for us together."

The remaining plant in the room is uprooted as Emerald Dragon tears it out of the ground roughly. As it stops moving and hardens, the limbs grappling at her clothes and tearing them further as the husk is discarded.

Emerald Dragon's indecency has hit 5 for the first time, and may now attempt to regenerate.

She had pushed herself a little too hard there, blades of energy bursting in a cloud of sparkles as they severed the last vine, sending her stumbling, the long ribbon that usually trailed behind her starting to break down as her costume began cannibalizing itself for extra energy, the tails deteriorating until it was barely a fifth of their original length. With a thud she slumped into a wall, the force sufficient enough to jostle her breasts, splitting the front of her weakened outfit and nearly letting the large globes bounce free.

"So… We're done?" She asked, hearing Valkyrie's report, a triumphant smile crossing her face, momentarily forgetting the pollen in the air even as a dull, aching heat built up between her legs, "Alright, we'll be there in… Ah." She glanced towards Idol as she started heading through the northern door, "Wait, she said to regroup didn't she?" She called out, forcing herself back to her feet, a dopey look crossing her face as she found her legs rubbing together to alleviate some of the ache between her legs, slippery juices joining the sweat rolling down her thighs.

"When this is all done… I'm gonna have a long visit with mister massager…" She mumbled to herself, chasing after her companion.

In its dying throes, the plant's writhing, thorny brambles shred the bottom of Emerald's cheongsam to bits, leaving her shapely legs uncovered and her privates so only by a sheer thong that rode up her generous behind. Her skin is marred by multiple shallow scrapes, but they don't hurt. The total opposite in fact. They feel pretty good. Everything feels just great around here, and the martial artist girl only barely manages to keep her hands from wandering somewhere they shouldn't in this situation.

"Mnn… Mmm?" When she's come to herself, Midori and El have left her behind, again. She sprints full speed behind them only to find herself face-to-face with another nasty. No rest for the wicked, huh? Awful time for it, too, I really need to touch myself right now- fucking pollen.

Without saying a word, the martial artist dumps the fire in her loins and the fire in her belly into her fists and legs, striking at the snakewoman without reservations.

"We might be a bit delayed in regrouping, but we'll try to get back to the entrance hall as soon as we can," Lily reported back to Valkyrie, after receiving her orders. "We're close enough to Idol,Dragon and Midori that I think we can meet up with them first, though."

The news about where the monsters had come from was… troubling, to say the least, but since it didn't change anything about the current mission, he did his best to stay focused on the enemy that was still in the room with him, at the moment. In her reckless charge, Emerald fails to gauge distance correctly and leaps right into the serpentess' face only to get smacked to the other side of the room for her foolishness, face meeting wall before dropping to the floor.

Getting up, Emerald notices the snake's attack tore a huge gash across her cheongsam's chest, large enough for her knockout knockers to spill out of and show off the whip mark-like bruise she got. She fruitlessly tries to squeeze her assets into what little fabric she's got available.

Eh, fuck it. Flaunt it if you've got it. That's an ancient proverb. Maybe. It's not like there's anything to worry about with the big nasty plant out anyways.

"Wow, nice punches, sister", she says closing in on Midori and hooking her arm around her neck and holding her close for a sis-fist, conveniently ignoring that the head-smaller El is RIGHT between them, getting her caught inbetween the two pairs of milk jugs.

>>66107

After a good few minutes of that, someone's voice knocks the three out of their close bonding moment. Her own petite old friend, conveniently enough, carrying a gash on her chest similar to Em's own, but obviously with less on display.

Midori watched the snake's body for a moment, ready to lunge in again or fire a blast at it should it start moving, but her attention was quickly drawn away by Emerald's approach, face turning bright red at what she saw - even considering her own state, "T-Thanks, same to you." She managed to respond, trying to keep her eyes locked on the other magical girl's face, awkwardly returning the bump, "I guess it's time to head back then?" She asked, slowly turning towards the door only to see Mahou and her new friend.

"Y-You didn't… You did didn't you?" She spoke up almost in unison with the other three, a little offput but this sudden turn of events. They had just cleared out a room full of pollen that threatened to turn their minds into mush after all, she wasn't exactly too thrilled by the prospect of having one of the inhabitants of this place following them around, "W-Well, whatever, let's just go and meet up with everyone else before something else decides to pop out at us… Maybe take a moment to sit down and relax when we get there." She suggested in a somewhat weary tone, hurrying through the pollen choked room and back the way the trio came.

Corruption Check

The sweet smell of the pollen lingers in her mouth and nose and sets her body on fire, nipples standing stiff as she tugs down the hem of her skirt fitfully. Were she alone, she might demand her pixie friend to help relieve some of this arousal, but with titty-monster #2 right next to her it wasn't gonna happen. Eyeing the pots and pans, a bit of potionmaking inspiration struck her and it wasn't of the purifying kind… But that too would have to wait until she was alone.

"Think the others are doing alright? I found a few back-issues of Locksmith's Digest that Lily might like, yknow from before they were bought out and became a big advertisement rag."

Move North: Normal/Competency

"Nnn… Maybe I should go check on them." She began, they hadn't really heard from the other group in a while, not since the report on the flowers. She didn't bother to question the choice of magazines, everyone had their hobbies after all and it certainly wasn't the strangest thing she had heard from the petite magical girl, "You tell Emerald and Idol when they catch up, I shouldn't be too long." She gave a reassuring grin and turned to head for the north door, pausing just long enough to grab her communicator as she passed through, "I'll be a moment regrouping, going to check on Lily and the others." She called to Valkyrie, figuring it best not to leave anyone wondering where she was.

El lingered back a bit, the feeling of skin on skin alerting her to another tear in her coat. Screaming on the inside, she somehow managed to keep quiet while being squished between the two larger girls and as soon as Midori and Star left she got to investigating the damage. Unfortunately it was a bit too full of holes to do anything but get in the way, so she tied it quick around her waist before heading out after the other two. Might as well use it for something.

"What's with Star? I knew she was a bit of a… umm." perv "odd duck but I didn't expect, well, all that. All that stuff she was talking about. And the fairy too, that was a little… Does she always act like that?" A few months ago that could have been me on the leash…

Blocking the thought out, she takes off after them.

Brew Lust Draft: Normal/Competency/Corruption

"Okay Sparky, full disclosure. I'm about to try something really suspicious-looking here, but don't worry, I think I have a plan." Star explains as she fills a kettle with water, producing a book from her bag as she puts it on the gas flame. Flipping open to a page on love potions, lust drafts and inhibition reducers, she scans for a suitable recipe.

"Oh and by the way, Midori's gone off to find Lily and the rest. You mighta just passed her actually. Moxie, find me a ladle please, and as many tea strainers as you can get hold of."

Taking a large mesh pasta strainer, she sweeps it around through the doorframe of the pollen-filled room, collecting the deliciously toxic dust.

"See, theory is, if I can make a potion that actively replicates the passive effect this mansion has on us… I may be able to make a counteracting agent. Yes, this one should do. Only needs a few minutes to simmer. Undercook it though, and it's useless and foul-tasting. Overcook it and… Hey, point of interest, Idol, if you ever take up potions, don't overcook anything. Ugh, it uses Valerian root. I hate how it smells…"

Muttering to herself, she continues to scavenge ingredients for the potion between the kitchen's herb and spice stock and her own travel kit, making substitutions when she can't find a rare ingredient.

"Now, I'd test this on Moxie, but she lives here so it may not have any effect. I'll have to try it myself. If something weird happens to me… well, it's not like we're besties anyway, right?"

Half-joking, she takes a drop or two of the brew in a teaspoon and puts it to her lips.

Midori grimaced as she entered the room, webs brushing against her bare legs and threatening to cling to her as she gingerly made her way through,"Ugh… wouldn't want to get caught in a fi… Oh." She mumbled under breath, thoughts cut short as she spotted the source of the sticky threads, "Of course." She sighed, knowing that she had little choice if she wanted to get through but not relishing the thought of fighting in such a restricting area, especially with how close they were to the next door, "Blaster shot!" She calls out, flinging a bolt of energy at the spider woman, hoping to catch her unaware and end this quickly… Even with her habit of calling her attacks making that an unlikely prospect.

Emerald lingered for a few secs, looking at seemingly nothing, until it was just her and the petite idol left in the room. Hearing the other girl talk about her old partner like that, she quickly countered.

"If it helps, Mahou's just putting on airs. She might be a perverted little minx, but… hey. She's not all bad. Probably." She shrugs, unconsciously showing off her chest as she does. "I'm not one to talk, I'm also one of them hellraisers, you know. You don't want me to start talking about what I did back then, either."

Chuckling at some remembered misdeeds, she follows El through the purple haze of the corrupted room all the way to where Midori and Star were.

>>66451

Or rather, just Star. Midori is nowhere to be found, as evidenced by the crippling lack of breasts beyond A-cups in the room. Well, aside from Emerald's own.

"Fashionably late, like always. Anything new, Ma… hou? Hey, first the fairy and now this? You really don't want to let Valkyrie know about this," she chided as she closed in on her old partner. "What's that, by the way?" She was ignored by the petite girl until well after the concoction touched her lips.

Her heart beating faster as the potion worked its way into her bloodstream, she became aware of her tall companion (titty-monster #1) coming up behind her."Here, try this." Star scooped up another dose of the concoction with the teaspoon and pushed it to Emerald's lips, having to stand on her toes to get close enough to the amazon's mouth. She'd just about managed to neutralize the corrupting toxins, but it still remained a decently potent "relationship enhancer". Her eyes kept drifting to the slit cut through the bust of Em's dress, though with less envy now and more (possibly Freudian) interest.

"Hah, like I'm going to let yo-mmph!" Emerald chuckled before she was force-fed the strange substance. Normally, she'd be able to just swat the spoon out of Mahou's hand. She'd be able to respond to a lot of the danger she'd run headfirst into better, and in fact not run headfirst into danger in the first place. Being in the mansion, surrounded by that purple haze of debauchery made Emerald's senses go dull to the warning signs that should've been blaring inside her head from the beginning.

As it was, she just stood there motionlessly as Mahou's potion worked its magic. "…was that? Oh, you little minx! This is just like back then!" she spits out, trembling and with a hot blush running throughout her whole body, her breasts heaving up and down with her labored breathing. Indeed, the petite girl had pulled this same trick on Emerald once back when they were irregulars, looking for trouble and raising hell all over the city. Of course, Emerald pulled a trick on her in return…

"You never learn, do you Mahou? Don't you remember what happened last time you tried to sucker me into this?" Emerald, her inner fire completely stoked and about to explode out of her, slammed her hand on the wall right next to Star's head, for show more than anything and closing the distance with her, shoving her huge, heaving melons in her face. Her remaining hand took the would-be alchemist's and slid it between her legs, where she felt a long, rigid, fleshy thing. "Just like back then, Star." she said, smiling hungrily.

A lust draught?! At a time like this? What was she thinking!? "Are you sure this is a good idea? didn't you say something about…" Something about the look in Star's eyes told Idol it would be best if she kept quiet. If something DID go wrong she should be able to handle it. The scheming witch did have a bit of a reputation for creative solutions. Then again she also was said to have a knack for tormenting those who crossed her. "Alright.. I'll just. I'll just keep an eye on things." She pulls up a chair while the other girl and her slave went to work, noting how excited Star seemed to be as she rambled on about this and that. Whether it was the potion making itself or the taboo nature of the task at hand, she couldn't quite tell.

Unfortunately Emerald Dragon didn't seem to interested in small talk either. More disturbing was how brazenly she bared her chest. Walking around a den of evil like that, was it pride she detected? These two were quite a pair an El was counting her blessings that she never had to face them down during their wilder days. looking back to the duo, she began to ask where Midori had gone off to only to see the Dragon get a mouthful of that strange concoction only for her eyes to flash with passion. "Hey, you guys okay?" Backing towards the door, she reached for the radio maybe I should call this in after all

Attempt to negotiate?: Normal/Risk (Corruption)

Not sure if normal or competency or both here or if this is even a valid action so disregard if it isn't.

The fact that the woman didn't go down as easily as the other creatures she had encountered so far took Midori by surprise, though she was more taken aback by the lack of immediate retaliation… Everything else in the mansion seemed to be on 'attack first ask questions never' terms with her group, which was understandable given what she knew about the situation from Star's little discovery. Had she made a mistake? She thought back on her own costume making hobby, if she had a needle she might have been able to enlist the spider's aid in patching up her costume a bit and- No… Keep focused, Lily and the others might be in trouble and she needed to hurry if that was the case.

Even with her rationalization she felt kind of bad about attacking an enemy that wasn't fighting back, not yet at least… Sure their expression was threatening enough, and the bug half creeped her out a little but everything manga and anime had taught her stated that just destroying her would come back to bite her in the ass later… Maybe literally. Yet at the same time leaving her alive might do the same - more likely literally in this case. Standing around her wouldn't do her much good either though so…

"Uh… S-sorry about that. Most of the stuff here has kind of just lashed out the moment I stepped foot in the room…" She began, fidgeting a bit though trying her best to keep her guard up in case negotiation failed, "I really just need to get through here to check on my friends so um…" She took a cautious step forward, trying to avoid the webbing scattered about. Maybe she was just trying to clear her conscience, maybe the prolonged exposure to all that pollen had messed with her brain, still she was making an attempt, and if the spider woman decided to attack her after this then well… She'd have no qualms about giving it her all to defeat them.

Lock Doors: Normal/Competency/Risk

Star let out a soft, slightly nervous laugh as her heart hammered, pinned against the wall. She'd come to blows with Em in the past almost as often as she teamed up with her, so the little witch was more than aware of how scary she could be.

"Do I remember…? You'd think I'd forget how I got my V-card revoked?"

Before she got carried away though, she spied Idol out of the corner of her eye, remembering that she was still in the room. Her oversized key vanished from its spot leaning against the counter and reappeared in her hand. Tapping the tip on the floor, she envisioned chains springing up from the doorframes, sealing the entrances to the kitchen shut.

I don't know about Isabel, but my job lately has been like a black hole that sucks away all energy and motivation over the course of the day. I'm still here and still interested in the game if you can put up with me being a bit slow to reply, though. And if not, then I'll still at least stick around to read how the game turns out.

Attack Writhing Tendrils: Normal/Competency/Risk

After moving into the northeast-most room in the mansion with Isabel, Lily found himself facing down three separate monsters all at once. This was sure to be a tough battle, but he was confident that he would still be able to handle it. It was simply a matter of selecting the proper strategy.

He wouldn't be able to easily strike at all three at once. Instead, he would have to figure out which of his opponents posed the greatest threat and eliminate it first, before taking on the other two. The butterfly might be able to buffet him with its wings or strike him with its fists, but it seemed to overall be the least-threatening creature in the room. The strange mound on the floor was an unknown quantity, on the other hand, without much in the way of clues to what it could do or how it could strike.

Ultimately, though, he chose to go after the writhing tendrils that were beginning to spring up from the edges of the room as his first target. His reasoning was fairly simple; If they behaved like the other vines that he had encountered in the room that he had just come from, then they would attempt to grapple him and restrict his movements. Whatever the other monsters could do, being bound would leave him easy prey for their attacks. He would be leaving himself open to them in the short term by attacking the vines instead, but in the long term it was the safest plan.

The metal seems to resize itself as its victim moves, allowing a certain amount of flexibility while staying tight and unyielding. "Gee, she's got you locked up tight, huh?" Making sure the others are fully occupied, Idol cracks a grin to herself before delivering a small shock to the ensnared sprite. Not enough to injure it, but it did give a satisfying wince.

The fact that the woman seemed to relent a little left Midori slightly confused as well, at least for a moment, "Did it work?" She thought to herself, taking advantage of the woman's momentary nonaggression to try to carefully make her way to the door, trying her best to look nonthreatening as possible as she drew near. While it was still probably a bad idea to leave the monster alive like this she could hear fighting on the other side of the door and she did not want to risk losing too much time getting there. She'd deal with the consequences of this later, assuming they didn't rear their head first.

Struggle free from the sticky slime: Normal/Risk (since this doesn't seem like a task that being a samurai or any of my special talents would help with)

It turned out that going after the vines had been a tactical error after all. While Lily had been expecting an attack from the slug, he hadn't been expecting a full-body tackle that would leave him pinned to the ground, nor had he expected that the thick coating of slime it was covered in would be sticky enough to leave him pinned, stuck tightly to the floor even after it got up off of him. It would be extremely hard to fight like this, and the slime in particular felt disgustingly-slippery as it ran over his skin, even in spite of its stickiness… Even though it would likely leave him open to more attacks, he would have to focus his energies now on struggling to get free.

He had been attacked from behind and pinned down onto his stomach, which was a bit of luck on his part, since it would make it easier to struggle back up to a standing position. It was hard to move his arms or shoulders, but his feet, at least, seemed to have avoided most of the slug's slime, and with a little effort, he was sure that he could get them up underneath him and at least push his hips up and off the ground. Perhaps if he pulled just right, he might even be lucky enough to keep most of his clothing intact when he did so, as well?

He would have to expect to lose half of his top at least, though. He could hear the tears that the vines in the previous room had left in it already starting to tear open even wider as he started to push himself…

Fight off the Slug: Normal/Competency/Risk (Indecency)/Indecency

Midori let out a yelp as the squishy bulk crashed into her with a wet squelching sound, slamming her into the wall and knocking the wind out of her for a moment, "Eugh… Groooss!" She complained, hand slipping as she tried to pry the slimy beast off of her. She let out a sharp gasp as one heft breast popped free of her costume, sticky ooze clinging to plush, sensitive flesh and making her grimace more even as it earned an involuntary squirm, "G-Get off!" She cried, gathering more energy into her fist even as the gem on her chest flashed in warning, she was burning energy much too fast but she couldn't afford to let up yet, not while her friends were still in danger, not to mention herself, "HAH!" She shouted, moving to slam her fist into the creature's side before unleashing a series of point-blank energy blasts, "I SAID GET OFF!"

Check die from the last action are supposed to be first in your die line, since it's settling something from last turn, but that's a bit of a nitpick, So I'll run with the order you declared them.

Midori's struggle with the slug tears her clothes as some of what's left sticks to her. She has mere scraps left as some of her damaged clothes stick to the slug's body from it's tackle. Midori is almost stripped bare.

Devil Blaster Midori's indecency is now at five, and she may now attempt to regenerate

Opposition die 2, 5

The slug's mucus seems to shield it's main body from harm as the blasts sizzle away the slime. It lunges forward, soon sticking Midori to the floor as it's stickyness threatens to pull off what's left of her outfit.

Devil Blaster Midori takes an indecency check.

Strelka has been away long enough to act as an NPC, don't forget that. In-universe logically, the number of characters present should offset the number of monsters, so I'm leaving the papilon and the tentacles idle this turn. Going forward though, I won't count NPC's as active protection unless someone uses them for roll assistance.

Push the slug off: Normal/Risk (Corruption)

Fairly boned apparently.

Midori grit her teeth, sweat running down her brow as she put everything she had into trying to blast the slug off of her, chest heaving from exertion as the warning flash blinked faster, the stone's color shifting from blue to red… Then eventually the energy stopped coming, the stone and her bracelets going black as the last shot fizzled out. Strength rapidly drained from her body as she suddenly felt the mollusk's weight press down on her more intensely than before and then in an instant the remains of her costume - most of it torn, dissolved, or cannibalized to provide more energy as Midori exhausted herself - burst into a cloud of sparkles, leaving her completely naked and the small on her collar reverting to a decorative broach, remaining uncomfortably pinned to her by her attacker's bulk.

She grit her teeth, struggling against the creature, but without her enhanced strength it was slow going. She felt helpless, desperate, "G-Get off… No… I can't lose like this… To something like this!" She shouted desperately, heart thudding in her ears as she squirmed and struggled like her life depended on it - and for all she knew it did.

With a great deal of effort, Lily was able to succeed in pulling himself upright again, and not a moment too soon. "Strelka!" He called out, even as he was lunging forward with his sword. "Come on, we've got a man down!"

With the slug gone Midori let out a gasp, and quickly regretted it; without the protection of the Blaster Dynamo she was suddenly keenly aware of how thick the air was, how dizzying. Her head felt fuzzy for a moment before she managed to shake it off, she couldn't lose herself now, she had come to help these three right? She closed her eyes and tried to focus, cringing a little as she became aware of the slime coating her front, leaving her device practically glued to her chest, she'd have to deal with that eventually. With a sigh she whipped around towards the butterfly like woman, unrestrained breasts wobbling in a somewhat distracting manner, "Right… She can't be that strong. Strike at the Papillon: Normal/Competency/Risk

"No, Midori! You should-" Lily's words were cut off and his blush only deepened as what he'd been trying to warn his depowered comrade about came to pass. "…Hang back."

Lacking the power of her magical outfit, Midori wasn't able to fight anywhere near as well as usual, and since the enemies in this room were stronger than what they had been facing up to this point, the butterfly-woman was able to seemingly-effortlessly dodge the attack aimed at her and move to grapple at her opponent. As for what happened after that…

Lily was blushing, but unlike many of his comrades, he had been left relatively untainted by the mansion's corruption, thus far. With his mind unclouded by it, he was able to keep his focus as he watched one of those comrades being molested by a monster and, sword at the ready, he moved in once again to save the naked magical girl.

Star sits down in a chair, giving the fairy an icy stare. "Moxie, over here." Pointing at her knee, she looked to the fairy expectantly. Anticipating hesitation, a leash was conjured from Moxie's collar straight into her hand, and she pulled her servant closer. Bending her over knee, she raises a hand, spanking the sprite hard 15 times. With every smack, she let the ache linger for a few seconds, punishing her in a slow, agonizing rhythm.

Once Star was finished, she let Moxie off her knee but didn't let go of the leash. With an octarine flash, a thick leather plate appeared over the fairy's small chest, locks bearing the same bizarre hexagram keyhole as her belt did. Parting her legs wide, she put her fingers to her nethers and spread them, a gush of Emerald's cum oozing out.

"Now be good and clean up this mess."

This was either just what the brat needed to keep her in line, or just something to get her more eager for payback…

Had it not been for the adrenaline surging through her veins and Lily calling out to her she might have given in right there; she had put too much strain on her body in such a short amount of time already, why bother fighting any longer?

What fully snapped her back to reality however, was where the hand was heading as it trailed further down, fingers sinking into one of her soft, slime coated mounts and making her gasp out, "H-Hey, where are you touching?!" Release Limiter (Corruption Check to reduce Indecency)

Another something that I have no idea if I'm doing correctly or if I can even do it while naked but here goes!

"Ah… No." She scrambled to call back to Valkyrie, voice trembling a bit as she tried to catch her breath, "I just over exerted myself a bit clearing out those roots and the dynamo malfunctioned." She reassured, not mentioning that the 'malfunction' was that the safety mechanisms had engaged to keep it from drawing too much energy from her, "Have Star, Emerald, and Ido- Oh." She looked up, finally spotting Idol in the doorway, "Well… Have Star and Emerald not shown up yet?" She asked, frowning a bit, she had told them - or at least told Star to tell them - to go on ahead while she helped out here…

She shook her head and slumped into the corner for a moment, finally able to catch her breath, "Just… Gotta get this thing active again." She mumbled, prying the brooch from her chest, strands of slime trailing behind it as it pulled away. Even if it meant pulling in a bit of energy from around her to kick start the thing she had to at least get some protection back; she was already getting light headed and she wasn't sure how much longer she could hold out in here without it… Even just getting it to respond a little to her desperation would be better than nothing.

Worked out better than I expected honestly so let's roll with it~.

It took some prying but finally something seemed to click, the Dynamo's gem flickering back to life and a relieved smile crossing Midori's face, though it quickly faded to one of shock as the feedback hit her, a sudden surge of tainted mana flooding into her as the brooch latched back into place, muscles tensing and eyes rolling back as a wave of euphoria washed over her. In a flash the defensive field wreathed itself around the blue haired girl, resolidifying into a proper costume.

Something was different however, as the light faded and details came into focus. Her long hair still hung in a messy tangle, barely restrained by half formed pink ribbons, the bow fastened to her back cut short and no longer trailing behind her like it had been. The outfit itself seemed darker colored and made of sturdier materials, like proper if not somewhat revealing armor - though the bit of cloth over her cleavage seemed quite a bit thinner than the costume's previous form. What's more she felt herself teetering on the edge of something, something bad yet… Oh so alluring.

A worrisome smile crossed her face for a moment, eyes seeming vacant as she fought off the sensation before returning to their normal state, "… Nnn… Well. At least that worked…" She grumbled, unconsciously rubbing her thighs together as she tried to regain her composure, "I can't afford to just become dead weight for you all!"

Pull your shit together and try to make a Purity Potion": Normal/Specialty/Corruption'''

Shaking the afterglow of an intense fuck and a dizzyingly pleasurable oral experience out of her head, Star takes a deep breath, drinks a cold glass of water and sets her potionmaking supplies back out on the table. "Now…. if Sparky hadn't freaked out and ran, she'd be seeing why I made the lust draft. Honestly, it's like she wasn't listening to a single word I was saying." she explained, unsure if Emerald was listening to a single word she was saying. "Let's see, I'll need some… spearmint, calendula, turmeric…. Hey Em, look in my bag and see if you can find me a bezoar."

After a long pause and a baffled look, Star decided she should find the bezoar and let Emerald take care of the garden variety ingredients. As her creation sits to simmer, she checks in on her communicator.

"Hey, hope I'm not missing anything too fun out there. If my theory's on the nose, I should have something useful for you. Something that could possibly dampen the effects this mansion's magic has on it… maybe even counteract it. Well, either that, or I'll have a huge waste of perfectly good reagents. Are you all okay out there, or do I need to come lend a hand?"

Pouring one of the pink vials into the pot, the little witch crushes up the stonelike lump she called a bezoar and scatters the powder into the mix, along with some of the pollen from the hall outside.

After a few minutes of stirring and incanting, she comes up with something off-white and viscous, the resemblance to Moxie's snack making her giggle a bit. "Oh man, the old lady's gonna think I'm playing some kind of prank… Well, let's give this a go! Moxie, try to corrupt me, just a bit. And don't you dare go overboard. Em, kick her ass if she tries anything funny." Downing a shotglass of the slimy fluid, she braces herself for the test… But if something went wrong, would it be that bad? The others were fine, she could stand a few more minutes in here for another emergency quickie, if she really needed to.

"Come to me." a silken voice whispered as Midori felt the intoxicating wave flow through her. being so close to the edge, she was suddenly much more aware of the force flowing through her that seemed intent on swallowing up her will, and offering ecstasy in exchange.

Midori's corruption has hit 5 for the first time and she is now able to attempt to purge corruption.

Moxie eagerly accepts the task, and as the two influences hit her they seem to cancel each other out easily enough. The batch seems to be enough of a success.

The large fairy was already reeling from it's first wound, and another strike was enough to end it, leaving the room empty of threats.

El gladly fell to the ground as the last beast fell, rubbing the self-inflicted pain out of her wrists. "Whew. That was close. You okay Midori?" whoa Now THAT was different. Her outfit looked a lot tougher now, much more robust than the thin material from before. A little intimidating actually. Maybe it's a secret second form, like it could only be activated on the brink of defeat or in desperate times. Almost like something out of one of those shows she watched. Figures she'd figure something like that out.

"We're all clear now, everything's fine but there might be one or two monsters creeping around. About to head back, just gonna catch my breath. How you holding up, Blue?"

Sitting up, El takes a closer look at her restraints. They weren't difficult to move in. Oddly enough they weren't uncomfortable either. But they were still one more thing to worry about, and if Ms. Valkyrie saw her bound with Star's seal they might both get in trouble. Quickly, she tries to break out before anyone notices.

"We've cleared out the last of the monsters in this section of the mansion, so we should definitely head back now," Lily stated aloud, not talking to anyone in particular so much as making an announcement to anyone within earshot. He flicked his blade out into the air to shake off any bits of fur or corrupted fluids that might have gotten stuck to it, then sheathed it and turned to go. "The rooms to the south should be clear, since we cut our way through them on our way up here. We should head back to the entrance that way."

With a lot of struggling and experimenting, Electric Idol manages to slowly weaken the chains. After an effort that strains her magic and leaves her a little lightheaded and cloudy on what finally worked, she breaks the spell. On Mahou's side, the locks she placed on the doors vanish, and a bit of shuffling nose can be heard from the other side.

Electric Idol takes a decency check.

The voice sent a tingle down her spine, making her space out for a moment again until Idol's voice snapped her back to reality, "Ah… Yeah I'm fine just… Didn't expect such a jolt. I um…" She scratched her head, looking over the new outfit, "I may have turned off some of the safeties on the Blaster Dynamo. Hopefully it won't be too much trouble but I just have to make sure I don't burn myself out like that again." She decided to leave the 'because there might not be an 'again' after that' bit unspoken, best not to cause undue worry. She also kept the voice she heard secret for now, she just had to play it a bit safer for now.

She rolled her shoulders and flexed her fingers, trying to get used to the new getup when Lily made their announcement, giving a small nod as she moved to follow after him.

Hastily writing down the results of her experiments, she sets about to making a larger batch with the remaining lust drafts. Finding her collected pollen running a bit slim, she opens the west door and scoops up as much as she can in her mesh basket before the intoxicating dizziness starts to hit her.

"Yknow, if I knew about this mission a week ago, I could have gallons of this junk ready, but for some reason, some of the teachers don't like to tell me things, not naming names." she complains aloud over the communicator. "… Hey Sparky, did you do something to my door?"

Running low on ingredients, Star figured this was the best she could do for now, and made a note to phone in an order from Salem Hobby and Craft Suppliers, wondering if that sensitive tingle on the surface of her skin was just excitement or something more sinister…

"If the sealed door wasn't holding a set of stairs leading upwards, we might wind up needing to climb up into that hole in the ceiling to get to the next floor," He observed, as he followed along after her. "I hope that doesn't happen, though. That hole looks like a good spot for an ambush."

Delighted with the result of her potioneering, she pours the pot of fluid into a large bottle, caps it and throws it into the bottomless bag at her hip, along with a number of glasses, mugs and teacups from the shelves (and she was sure the mistress of the house would barely notice any of the nice silver flatware missing, presumably feeding on the innocence of pure maidens).

"Hmm, if the floorplan has any sort of symmetry, and I gather it does from what I've seen, the foyer should be….." Star hurries out through the south door, not particularly watching where she was going. She was pretty sure she saw Emerald tear that south room apart just as they came in anyway.

"Now Moxie, you're about to meet our… our Mistress, let's say. She's kind of a crabby, uptight sort, so just try to stay behind me and don't say anything. Actually-"

Waving her key-wand, a heavy black panel gag shut itself over the fairy's mouth. "Don't worry, you weren't bad. This'll come off soon. I just don't want the Mistress to think you've been tricking me."

"Ah, you're back. Things here are worse than I thought they would be." Silver says, pausing to take note of the damage the girls have taken. "Though I think you've found that out firsthand. I was told that abandoned familiars were accumulating here-"

Blue manages to snatch her phone back. The two of them exchange an angry glance for one of submission as the Cleric puts it away.

"In any case, let's get to the bottom of this." Silver says, giving the sealed door a nudge, and it parts to reveal a grand staircase.

"The others seem to be making their way back already, so we're probably in good shape to face the source of this problem."

Ascend the stairs!: Normal/Competency

The sight that greeted her as she stepped into the entryway once more provoked rather mixed feelings, on the one hand it was strange seeing such antics given the apparent severity of the situation, yet at the same time she was a little irritated at the fact that the group had been out risking themselves while these two stayed behind to goof off. She quickly shook off that second bit though, negative emotions wouldn't do anyone any good - least of all her given the nature of her powers - and she wasn't entirely sure why the reaction had been that intense in the first place.

"So, it's that easy huh?" She questioned as the door swung open, quickly approaching to peer up the stairs, "Well… I guess we won't find out what's up with this place staying down here, let's go!" She said, eager to get moving, the sooner they were done the sooner she could get home and washed up, the feel of drying slug slime still clinging to her made her skin crawl and she wanted to be rid of it as soon as possible.

Hmm, this was a new concept we added to the ruleset, so that detail is kind of not decided. To avoid stall and spam problems, I'm going to say regenerating at a safe room doesn't consume a player action, but costs the party healer an exposure check. Characters that haven't yet hit critical indecency or corruption are free to use the healer as well. Options for reducing exposure will probably come into play later, and will probably require dropping the barrier, and escorting the squishy healer to a new base.

So if you're watching the thread, you may want to attach some healing before I make today's official DM turn.

"Right, Let's get going then." The silver Valkyrie said as she marched up the stairs. As they entered the upstairs room, a voice called out from within.

"Your girls are tougher than I expected. I should have made more children."

As they approach, they see a woman reclining on a mass of writhing tentacles.

"El- uh Goldenrod? Ju- Just what are you doing?" Silver called out, visibly shaking.

"My lady will be angry if I don't obtain any new mothers, why don't you recruit your students for me?"

Seeming to take advantage of the Valkyrie's shock, a set of vines snatch her up, pulling her to the far corner of the room and entangling her.

A wall of thorns emerges, barring the others from following immediately.

The thorn wall is a passive threat, but requires an indecency risk for all rolls involved.

"That won't be enough to stop you, will it? Good thing I've been growing children since you arrived."

The sprite didn't need to know that Moxie went along at least partially willingly any more than she needed to know that nothing actually happened to the spider. Star just needed to buy a few seconds to bolt through the door.

Midori to the rescue! (Attack the tentacles holding Valkyrie): Normal/Compentency/Risk (Indeceny)

Midori shook her arm and leg to clear the remains of the vines from her, gritting her teeth as she turned her attention to the rather unfortunate sounds and somewhat lewd talk coming from the other side, face turning deep red - at first from embarrassment then anger, "I WON'T LET YOU!" She shouts, energy flaring around her as her anger served to amplify what energy she had left, her protective barrier turning into a full body weapon as she lunged forward, "BLASTER CYCLONE!" She grit her teeth, leaping into the air and throwing her body into a spin with the intent of plowing through the thorn wall and hopefully tearing through the tentacles binding Valkyrie as she hurtled through the air!

Charge the vine creature Midori weakened: Normal/Competency/Risk

Almost as soon as they reached the top of the stairs, the battle was joined, and right off the bat, the magical girl occupying the room took their teacher out of the equation. Lily hadn't actually had the chance to restore his uniform before they had moved on to the boss room, but he didn't let that hold him back, charging immediately at the vine creature that Midori had weakened and hacking at it with his sword, hoping to finish it off.

This would be a difficult fight, but victory was still within their grasp, so long as they fought smart. Thinning down the enemy's numbers was the first step towards turning an impossible fight into a manageable one, and he would focus on that task while trusting on his companions to rescue their teacher.

The thorn wall tightens up where Midori approaches, soaking up a lot of the force of her charge. Some of the branches snap, but her progress into the barrier stops only partway in, leaving her tangled in hooked points. However, she manages to extract herself without tearing her outfit, partly thanks to there being less of it now.

Lily's assault nearly falters, but he manages to redouble his strike before the plant monster can strike back.

"More! More! I need strong ones!" The corrupted woman shouts as she massages the beast beneath her. Her abdomen slowly expands as the churning tentacle pumps her fuller, more of the violet goo drips out of her.

The Silver Valkyrie Stumbles a bit, nearly lifted off her feet by the vines around her, but steps toward the source of the vines, securing just a little slack from them as they try to constrict.

Cut through the tentacles!: Normal/Competency/Risk (Indecency)

The sight that greeted her peering through the tangled bramble mass made Midori cringe, teeth grinding together as she strained to force her way through the rest of the way… Yet when she caught sight of what was happening with the fallen magical girl her heart fluttered, the corrupt energy flowing through her reacting to the sight of her belly slowly swelling - No… She couldn't give in here, she had to keep fighting… If she went down then the intended to take whoever was behind all of this with her!

With a strained grunt she forced more energy into her right hand, the gem in her bracelet flaring as a large blade of golden energy engulfed her arm, using it to burst her way out and lung towards the tentacles pulling Valkyrie in, eyes practically glowing as the swung, shouting at the top of her lungs as she put her all behind the attack.

Attack the vine monster on the left: Normal/Competency/Risk

These vine monsters were certainly turning out to be tougher than most of the other creatures in the mansion had been. Even weakened, the monster that Lily had attacked had almost thrown off his attack and come back at him. He had managed to power through, though, and as the first of the three vine creatures shriveled away, he saw that another one of his comrades was having some trouble of her own in dealing with the monsters.

"Idol!" He called out as he charged in. "Let's take this one on together!"

One strike alone wasn't going to be enough to finish these creatures off, but two strikes together, the second blow coming while the monster was still reeling from the first… Yes, that seemed like it would be more likely to work.

Crawl Through Vines: Normal/Specialty/Indecency

Seeing her mentor struggling alone with what used to be one of her teachers through the wall of vines, she decided to let the tough broads deal with the rampaging tentacle beasts and get herself on the other side of that thorn hedge.

"Moxie, if you can't get yourself through, do what the other girls tell you… Except Goldie. Don't do what she says."

Picking out a decent-sized gap, she makes a dive and tries to squeeze herself through, hoping her already-tattered cape would take most of the damage so she might still have a costume when she comes out.

"Ma-ugh!" The Silver Valkyrie takes notice of Star as she slips through, though she's soon cut off as the vines around her tighten. A shoulder plate tumbles of of her armor, and a creaking sound marks the further weakening of her armor.

"Oh, we have another guest." The corrupt woman says, seeming to have caught her breath already. "I'm sorry, I don't have another 'massage chair' available, but I'll be more than glad to see to you personally. I see you've been enjoying one of my Papilon, would you like me to make more for you?"

"Hah! Just as she turns back to face Goldenrod, her cheeks turn red as she witnesses the corrupted woman laying more seed pods, unable to look away.

"Oh…. Not good." The jewel set into her Key of Solomon flickering, the witch tries to keep the seeds from splitting open. In her mind's eye, she imagines them being wrapped in layer upon layer of duct tape, and focuses on conjuring her vision into reality.

"Moxie, do that stringy thing you tried on me! Wrap up those seeds good and tight!"

Finish off the enemy: Normal/Competency/Risk

Between his own strikes and Idol's followup, Lily was able to leave the creature staggered, open for another attack. It seemed that even the two of them together would have some trouble finishing it off so easily, however. Even worse, the final remaining vine creature in the room made a play for Idol while they were both distracted with fighting this monster, though fortunately she was able to wriggle free of its assault without taking any real damage.

Not wanting to leave them open to any other attacks like that, Lily moved to quickly finish off the weakened enemy before them so that he could move to assist Idol.

"More guests? Oh my, I think I may have trouble serving all of you." Goldenrod Guardian strolls between The Valkyrie and the approaching slayer, grabbing her and planting a kiss on her lips. There's almost a burning tingle anywhere they're even close to touching.

The seeds begin to shake and soon pop open. Out from each comes a humanoid figure, though with green skin and little yellow flowers in their hair. One seems particularly feminine, another masculine, and the third seems a bit more enigmatic.

The Valkyrie finds some purchase in her battle against the vines, even if it only prevents further damage to her armor.

Ensnare Goldenrod: Competency/Corruption

Star stumbles back from the blow, the tendrils holding the Valkyrie in place grabbing and tearing at her clothes. Her skirt is gone, her skintight outfit is mostly torn away, thin strips clinging to the seams and hems, and her hole-ridden cloak pulled up about her body making her look even smaller than usual.

Now the taunting was getting to her though… If she was going to take more pets, it was gonna be on her terms. She wasn't about to become a toy for some lazy brood-whore who barely bothered to get out of her "chair" to fight them.

"Let her go! She's mine!"

She wasn't sure where those words came from, or why the sight of Goldenrod babying the stupid little fairy got to her so much, but before she knew it, Star was focusing on ropes, chains…. a great wheel. Tying her limbs to spokes. Making her scream just to take that aloofness out of her voice. If having Moxie under her grip was satisfying, she could only imagine how good it'd be to take this big-titted bimbo that used to be her teacher down a peg or two.

Way too close. Idol pulls back from the vines, shooting Strelka a quick nod in thanks. Taking a moment she surveys the battlefield, paying special attention to the newcomers. Must be some kind of dryad. They stood still after rising, almost like they were observing the invaders with their bright sparkling eyes. Or just waiting for something to happen. Either way, it couldn't be good. They'd be kinda cute if they didn't just come out of the madwoman dripping purple. "Hey Lily. Are dryads intelligent? Those are dryads right?"

Well, they're newborns. Can't be that dangerous yet. Turning away from the triplets, she sends another arc jumping towards the vines.

"They look similar, but I don't think that true dryads are born this way," Lily answered Idol's question as he circled around the edge of the room, appraising the tactical situation again. Idol seemed to have the monster she was fighting well in-hand at this point, thanks to Strelka's timely assist, and it didn't look like the corrupted Goldenrod Guardian was planning to give birth to any more new monsters any time soon… On the other hand, given the way she was manhandling Isabel, she seemed to be one of the more dangerous enemies in the room.

"Dragon!" He called out, fairly certain he could make out the sound of the Emerald martial artist's feet hitting the stairs. "Let's focus on taking down the boss lady!"

And, as the martial artist moved in, he made his own charge, feinting a thrust with his sword before he suddenly took one hand off of it, lashing out at her with his fist for a subduing strike.
