My partner and I pre-plan quite a bit, but really it's just a general framework for a certain "saga", so to speak. There is plenty of room for surprises and we play off of each other a lot. Regardless, the plot lines will progress.

Not really. We'll let each other know when a certain part is too hot too handle or if we need a "breather". We also discuss where to go after when a certain part is finished.

I try and pre-plan a lot now, i used to just improvise but after getting some partners that weren't that big of fans of that i've decided to ask them about what they want more than anything.

If they prefer it, I do. As far as my own preference, I am of the pre-plan mindset just to get an idea of where to go so we're not recycling too many of the same ideas too often, That said, improving can lead to some nice surprises, so don't often plan everything out, just add to it as we go.

Not if it needs it. A scene that's sort of coming out in a way that needs to be covered, or for the sake of minor details for a post, I'm cool to let slip. If we can just sort of keep the pace going fien otherwise though, I see no need to stop for such things.

I talk with my partner and interrupt the scene every now and then to tell him just how much I want his dick, begging him to jerk that fat cock for me. Frankly, I tend to enjoy erp as just heavy foreplay until I get my partner worked up enough to type with one hand. And then the OOC fun begins.

I usually like to establish things like who the characters are in relation to each other and the place, time, and circumstances they meet under.

Everything else is improv. If we have similar enough kinks, it works out, but the stage absolutely needs to be set, otherwise the characters will fall flat and it's just glorified sexting.

I plan where the rp is going to be set and what kinks are going to be needed. As well as sorting out how our characters know eachother if we're just going to get stuck into the lewdness.

I don't like IC approaches at all, I like having things established a little first. Plus talking about things beforehand is a great way to see if we actually click fetishwise.

It depends on whether we're roleplaying or typefucking.

Actual roleplaying, to me, is when the multiple paragraphs come out. That's when planning and clarification is important to make sure everything is consistent.

Typefucking is just the rapid-fire 4-sentences-to-a-paragraph for the purpose of getting off. I much prefer improvising these scenes, since there's not much effort put into them.

I like to at least discuss what kinks to play, but if you preplan TOO heavily, you hit a point where there's no longer any point in playing.
