I want to say that I have a decent time as a straight blue, because I do tend to meet some pretty great partners, but even so I'm not safe from people blatantly ignoring my no kinks while approaching me.

Yeah the grass isn't always greener. I have two characters who are bi pink, one a loli and one older, and yet it's the same shit I keep getting. And the few partners who have approached me who look decent are in a very different time zone so I am approached 5 minutes before I log off.

But it can be worse when finding a good partner. I've had to turn down two RPers because they were TOO good. Like they were writing novels but at the same time hours were going by and the scene barely moved past "hello" because of the ridiculous amount they were writing.

I just want to find a partner who is literate but realizes when it is appropriate to be more descriptive, mostly to keep the scene moving. I'm not a neet and can't spend hours on a scene that will end up being cut short after going nowhere.

Also "Hello Miss, Hello Ma'am, Hello Maddam" I just started flat out ignoring. I used to say Hello back, but it's not worth it.

There's many, many profiles that have players very willing to change their characters, from basic anatomy to their whole backstory. Sometimes, this is easier than having five slightly-different profiles for different settings. They usually showcase it on the profile, but even if they don't and you like a profile enough, you might as well politely check if they're willing to change some aspects of the character.

Worse that can happen is they say no, after all.

Custom No's about post length. Basically a paragraph on how they can't keep up with paragraph play. When you find someone that meshes well with you, the lines flow very easily.

I've kind of had the opposite problem. I've been looking for a good dominant pink for a while, but in addition to being rare, they're picky as fuck. Likewise, I don't see any problem with a Japanese name if your character was born and raised in Japan, or a mixed English name with an Asian surname if their parents migrated to America.
