The plan I have is to make something resembling a torrent client. You add doujins to the downloading queue by providing the sadpanda url, then the program automatically grabs pages and puts them in suitably named folders at the maximum allowed rate.
If it's the same as e-hentai, a basic account can download 1 page per 3 minutes (480 per day). At that rate the queue wouldn't really be needed, but if higher "level" accounts can download faster then it might be useful. Also it could warn you if you told it to download the same thing twice.
I might start trying to build something to work on e-hentai, then it should only require minor modification to add support for exhentai.

Viewing a page normally costs 1 page view, but downloading a maximum resolution version (if available) costs 5 page views (and hence is 5 times slower).

Is there any site/service or could someone create this service that has an archival type interface, like a menu where you can sort by different tags (i.e. year, genre, rating, studio, etc.)It would be nice to have it as part of the service that we are archiving onto, but it could also work as a publicly accessible .csv or .xls which links to the necessary archive.

Alright, I now have a program which can login to e-hentai and download a full gallery to a folder.
It has absolutely no user interface to speak of (everything is magic numbers in the code), but the core functionality is in place.
It can also get the metadata for a given gallery, and determine how many page downloads it has left, which will be useful later.

The only issue is that someone has to seed said torrent, often the uploader, until there's a sizable number of people who are willing to seed indefinitely. There's a shitton of galleries on the panda with no torrents - often huge imagesets with an equally hefty credit cost. Still, most recent releases have no shortage of seeds, so our best bet for older works would be to hope someone already has it in their collection.
If there's nobody who has it, honestly, it might be easier to just grind on the game, it doesn't take long if you build for a certain playstyle. Since difficulty affects your XP multiplier, you can powerlevel once you have some decent gear, giving you access to higher level arenas. Assuming you've allocated your stats accordingly and equipped restore items (which drop like crazy) you'll be zooming through battles and rolling in credits.

Still haven't solved the IP-blocking problem. Tenboro lied on the API wiki page ( http://ehwiki.org/wiki/API ). It says you can make 4-5 requests every 5 seconds, but in reality you get banned after 7 requests even waiting 10 seconds between each.
I have some ideas for evading detection (eg. scraping normal HTML pages rather than using the API) but I blame the sycophants on /a/ for encouraging him to be such an awful admin. I hope they choke on their own smug sense of superiority.

Amazingly it was quite easy to switch from using the API to scraping the pages directly, and that seems to have stopped my IP from getting banned (touch wood).

Nekopaw Grabber is a neat tool that also supports downloading shit from Pixiv and boorus.
Only limit exhentai has is the daily picture one, not sure about pixiv but it seems to go a bit slower from there. Boorus can get grabbed pretty quickly.

So, good news:
All BISHOP games that have been released so far are archived nicely, except for a couple of Immoral Editions, but that will be fixed very soon.
As for Lilith, most of the ones with Kagami as the artist are archived, and the ZOL-BOX is ready. Gotta find the standalone versions, as well as any others missing.
I've also gotten every single issue of Comic UNREAL up on panda, plus individual chapters and series of my personal liking - translated and untranslated alike.
Now moving onto Comic MILF, Toushi Engi, Punch and the newest iteration of the series. Will post a screencap soon.
I've also backed up all the Sogna games I've been able to find.
Now, if only nyaa wasn't down, I'd be done downloading the MAIKA games already, but alas, it's down again. Thankfully, it's not that many (alot of them were never uploaded, sadly, for better or worse).
