What are the archive standards? We need consistent standards. Filetypes, naming conventions, info, etc. We're gonna be giving ourselves a ton of trouble if we have Film A - Director, [Year].mkv one hand and Director.Movie.B.Year.mp4 on the other, multiplied by a thousand

Just use wget with the -rk flag from the root of the ftp server, it should grab everything.
