What about password protected compressed archives stored on mega. Access and download through tor/vps/vpn and then all we have to do is keep a secure database of links to hoarded content shared amongst ourselves?

I'm guessing this is a terrible idea but I don't have an explicit reason. Inform me.

We were planning on ipfs and torrents over i2p. You can do mega as well, but if you use DDL try to mirror it to upload sites that don't require browser add-ons for large downloads (like Mega) or are impossible to use without javascript and DOM Storage enabled in your browser (like Mega).

A heads up from a MEGA user, you can simply download the "Noscript" add-on in your web browser, ban javascript, but allow the MEGA domains *temporarily during each session if you like. You can still use MEGA while being protected from other vulnerabilities that way.

Funny, I have my cookies/web cache disabled in my browser options and it never blocks me from accessing MEGA. I use Mozilla Firefox btw, it could depend on the browser you are using.
