Just as a note, what you're looking at now is technically the old CSS. It was exactly like this a long time ago, before it got changed into to a fileboard, which is what yuo're familiar with.

I can see that the opinion, so far, favors the fileboard layout. I will change it if it gets more support.

Also, you post flash files the same way you post images. Just select them and it'll upload.

not OP, and i vote to keep it this way, but my main problem was with the fact that it got changed in the first place.

so much content was lost that day, so much history, some shit from before 8chan even implemented .swf's, all gone because one faggot decided to fuck around with the CSS (which pretty much nobody supported when it was first suggested). now that it has happened, the CSS really becomes a trivial matter. there's no way to get back what was already lost.

regardless, /f/'s former glory will not be restored until .swf's regain their support on the site, regardless of how great or shitty a BO you are. and that doesn't seem to be happening in the near future.

I feel you, I was devistated when the style was changed and everything lost. There was still a bunch of stuff I never saved.

And you're probably right. In order for us to regain our popularity, flash support needs to be re-implemented, or another solution implemented for ease of use, like a plugin that automatically loads the flash into RAM and opens it in a tab. And even that can bring about issues.

i was under the impression that plugin already existed. thought i saw people mention it before. that wont solve the problem though. myself being an example, most people wont download that plugin either out of laziness, distrust, or desire to use few plugins to improve browser speed. unless there is a native swf player on-site, i won't use this board for much other than TiTs

Actually, it's change for the sake of going back to an older, slightly better system.

The general opinion seems to lean much more heavily on the fileboard layout though, so I will most likely change it back.

I only wanted it this way because I felt like it would help promote discussion threads, as well as help attract attention to discussion threads including the CoC and TiTs threads, which seem to have 80% of our userbase right now. If I could get an opinion from them, then I would most likely base my decision off of that.
