To be fair, Damon Hill was beating senna before senna died, and hill, for all his tendency to bitch and moan, generally had a high rate of outpacing his teammates.

Agreed on mansell and hakkinen though. Hakkinen (sorry Finland) was pretty well out performed by Johnny Herbert at lotus.

the LMP1 hybrid formula seems more natural since the teams can put out so much more power. the ERS in F1 is pretty much there to make up for hp lost by downsizing the ICE rather than to add anything.
