But like I said in the OP it shuts down the unlimited changes tonight and idk if it lets you score points from past rounds so you might be in a Honda situation if you join.

Well I had Vettel to win in Australia, after that didn't happen I went back to HWL for Malaysia and obviously Vettel won. Then I had Gimi for 2nd in China and that didn't pan out either, but in Bahrain FPs he looked quick so I figured if Vettel fucked up he would have a good chance. I'm just mad I didn't put down Gimi as the fastest lap too, but that required knowing Ferrari would split the strategies and that was a bridge too far.

Hedging a little bit since I have Louis on my team. Long runs look good for Ferrari, they might try and two-stop it again. Vettel and Thirdberg did good stints on the Mediums. Ofc this is all in hotter conditions than the race so who knows.

Correct me if im wrong (i only have a laymans understanding when it comes to engines), but isnt this 1000hp stuff misleading? Most of the remaining power only kicks in at full boost and revs, whereas its struggles to max power at lower revs. It would certainly explain why the hybrids have decent straightline speed, but suck at nearly everything else.

The real wildcard in the choice is how Gutierrez will perform.
I believe Romain will beat him, but maybe not as often as Kmag will beat Palmer, but then that asks the question of where Renault is at.

The Renault doesn't look that slow but ofc no points are awarded for DNFs so it will come down to reliability/positions gained when there is a finish. Haas looks slow but steady at this point.

suppose the bigger question is whether the Renault is decent around Bahrain but the FPs will be less disrupted there and quali will (hopefully) be back to 'normal'
