What is the best machine for working in metal?
I'm guessing it is not an additive process so i have no idea so it may be sintering or something.
I am asking because I am trying to get a rough estimate for the total price of a small, completely independent community. one that cap produce everything it needs from food to computers.

I haven't yet used up the single spool of PLA it came with, during my few days of printing mostly trinkets.

I tweaked that guy's model a little because I only have PLA which is much more brittle than the nylon that the official ones are supposed to be made out of.
Got a few hours left before the first ones are done and I can revise and reprint.

I recently got the chance to use a 3D printer for the first time the other day when a friend loaned me his to see if I could get it working again. (I did.) It's a TAZ Lulzbot 3 and it's incredible to me how many parts of it are printed, and how close they are to the heating elements.I haven't yet used up the single spool of PLA it came with, during my few days of printing mostly trinkets.
