Which is it?
Smartrap? Morgan? Some Printrbot variant?

I got a $500 USD RepRap, though that was just a fluke of sales.
Also, all the pencil-pushers combined charged me a total of about $130 to get it through NZ customs.

What model?
I've seen kits sold for $350 or so.
Also, I reckon some delta bots may be cheaper than cartesian bots.
GUS Simpson looks ridiculously cheap, but it's experimental and cannot currently self-reproduce.
Also, I think it's more practical to build something that have kits available.

I wonder why they use their sophisticated drip-based system for z axis instead of a simple peristaltic pump.
