Ever wondered what a the inside living of a soviet block building looks like today. You know the ones in HL2. Well I know, cuz I live in one and I tonight why not make a short, expressing the narrative of someone living in such a place at such time for humanity. What are your opinions on fics that use multiple languages?

For example, fics that use extensive amounts of Japanese. Do you find it annoying to read, or do you prefer that to fics that use dub terminology?

Using a term or phrase from a different language isn't necessarily bad, but anime fanfics that haphazardly stick words like "kawaii", "imouto", or attach honorifics annoy me.

Context is important.

I'm working on a crossover between Persona 4 and Dark Souls, where a knight from Lordran ends up as Rise's bodyguard and shit starts going down.

There's romance in there somewhere, but I don't like having OC romances happen too fast or they feel hamfisted.
Then again It's probably crap to begin with, but goddamn it I'm going to finish it.

There are compilations all over the net circa the turn of the millennium if you know where to look, though they're fandom-specific.

TVTropes also tends to be pretty good, although you still need to be cautious and exercise your own judgment.

I've read a few, and am writing two right now.

For the most part, they're the most depraved, autistic pieces of literature you will ever find on the internet. You may find a few gold stars here and there, but they're very few, and very rare to find. Cornwallace, Maverick87, and Vernon Danforth (though I'm convinced he and Cornwallce are the same person) are good examples of talented Sonic fanfic authors, but other than them, the rest are pretty much shit.
