Do you guys really give a fuck abut the rating system on ff.net? I don't usually give a fuck about it and select K+ or some shit.

 No.124

I've never had to worry about it too much because I've never written an adult fic but if I did I'd still sort it in its appropriate place because I wouldn't want to end up getting my account suspended over something as petty as that. I mean, with what's happened at 4chan I'm more reluctant to be reckless.

 No.125

I just rate everything as T. High enough to cover myself in case I decide to go full edgy but just low enough that it shows up under default settings.

What I'd like from ffnet are better genres to select from. Since nobody can into categorization and sorting by reviews/favs/follows doesn't work since the reader base has shit taste, all I ever use is language, word count and the search function when filtering.

My inner editor can't take this. Also, my inner halfchan can't take your trip. There's only like six or eight people here. Are you trying to prove something?

I guess I shouldn't. My fic's rated M. Maybe I should bring it down so I get more readers. So far, nothing's happened anyway that could merit that M.

Oh wait. I'm T. Crap.

I've had a T fic taken down because it was too violent. Just about everything I've written was with a T rating, to get the widest possible audience.

m8, just call him a faggot if it bothers you.

Too violent? What was in it?

It was a parody where common situations would spiral out of control. Often this would result in people dying. Though I hadn't heard of it yet, my story was very similar to Happy Tree Friends and Friends.

I thought the violence was nondescript and cartoony enough to be T rated, but someone else apparently disagreed. What sucks is I didn't even get a warning, so there was no opportunity to change what they thought was wrong. There were similar jokes involving death in my other T stories, which never had problems, so it really bothered me that this one got taken down.

This was in the SSB fandom, so people dying and reappearing later wasn't anything strange. If I had to give an example: I would describe Pichu getting stepped on, his bones crunching, and nobody noticing his broken body as they kept walking. this still makes me horny
