Never played a Sonic game, seen a few episodes of the cartoon, never picked up a comic.

So I don't like him, I don't hate him.

Having said that, the standard hate flung their way, I can't/don't understand. Fics are fics. They're not for everybody. I wouldn't read a Twilight fic, but I don't bash them either.

I've read a few, and am writing two right now.

For the most part, they're the most depraved, autistic pieces of literature you will ever find on the internet. You may find a few gold stars here and there, but they're very few, and very rare to find. Cornwallace, Maverick87, and Vernon Danforth (though I'm convinced he and Cornwallce are the same person) are good examples of talented Sonic fanfic authors, but other than them, the rest are pretty much shit.
