>"STOCKHOLM. Activism in 'Next 1' (Group 1) blossomed last year and submitted 150 battle reports. North Front has now had the pleasure of interviewing one of the Resistance activists in Stockholm.
>North Front has interviewed Resistance activist Michael Svannäs who lives in northern Stockholm. Svannäs is 20 years old and it was his squad leader in Fighting Group 1 who suggested him as an interviewee due to Svannäs being a very diligent activist.
>How long have you been active in the Resistance?I joined the Resistance on June 6, 2013 and have been featured there most of the time since.
>Have you been involved in any other national organizations or parties? I was active in the Party of the Swedes between 2011-2013.
>What was it that made you get involved in the national movement from the beginning?I realized that there was something wrong with society, and through the internet, I got the answers I sought. But despite that, I did not get involved at one time. But I understood the seriousness only after I had been attacked by foreigners and chose only then to become active.
>What was it that made you choose to join the Resistance? The reason I chose the Resistance was the organization's actions and that they have a solid ideological foundation of National Socialism.
>What has been the best and the worst experience during your time in the Resistance?I do not have any bad memories, but it would probably be after the game after the confrontation in Kärrtorp when our comrades were arrested. The best was when they then were released after the trials. I also think it's nice when we gather throughout the organization, such as the Nordic countries Days or activist Days.
>How has the mood and morale really been in Group 1 after Kärrtorp? Has recruitment been adversely affected? We kept the mood on top and morale I felt was higher than ever. I refused to betray my imprisoned comrades and there were many who agreed with me. Recruitment could not have gone better, we received many new members and activists after Kärrtorp. Now, the recruitment goes as it used to before Kärrtorp.
>Last year you submitted over 150 battle reports in Group 1. What do you think made you manage to achieve such a result? We are faithful to the fight and convinced, we are pushing too, we spur each other to make more and better activities. We also have a great group of managers who pepper us.
>Who is your team leader and can you tell me anything about him?My squad leader is Joakim Blixt, he is a good manager and one of those who were detained and then sentenced after Kärrtorp. He inspires us and is very innovative, which means we do activities that the other groups have not done yet.
>So far this year you have reported over 25 activities. Do you think you will beat last year's results? It is hard to say. Unfortunately, we have several activists who are probably waiting imprisonment now that the trials from the event in Kärrtorp kick off in February. But we will do our best and we will invest in more activities than last year. No.19
>Have you been convicted after Kärrtorp? No, my trial is now in February and I expect to be punished, it is a political trial and therefore I will be convicted.
>In reading your reports, it reveals several different types of activities such as billboards, flyers dividends, self-defense training and education evenings. What kind of activity do you prefer?I prefer forest activities when you can get out into the woods and get away from the city. When we went out for Galdhøpiggen, it was such a weekend that I will never forget. But I also like public flyer distributions because it will reach out to the people, so that you can have a discussion and correct their prejudices about us National Socialists. But it is important to form and I noticed last year that I have developed ideologically.
>How do you mean you developed ideologically?I feel safer on the street when I explain what it means to be a National Socialist. I can also keep a deeper discussions with my peers than I could before.
>Speaking of public activities. All nests have been working to collect the signatures for the upcoming party formation and so even you in Group 1. How has it gone? And how has the response from the public has been?We called the first round for family and friends to gather signatures there. But we also collect signatures in public and we have received many backslaps and thumbs up. And of course many signatures….
>Are there be usually any problems with the police or opponents on your activities? We have very little distraction during base activities, such as banner sets and the like. It is when we have public activities that police tend to show themselves and their loyalty to the system.
>One thing you have in Stockholm that is getting attention are your daring banner sets where you climb up the standings on road signs and attach the banners several meters above the ground. Is that something you usually do?Yes, it has become a bit of our thing in Group 1. It is very effective because opponents rarely dare to climb up and thus the banners stay up longer. I'll often be one of those climbers.
>Speaking of opponents, many of our readers may be wondering how much trouble they create for Resistance activists. Do you usually have a lot of problems with the AFA and other left-wing extremists? No, it's nothing I have noticed in my time. They have disturbed us during public leafleting but no more than that.
>In Stockholm, have you started to manufacture banners with different pictures on. Is this a trend that will continue?Yes, we will continue to manufacture banners with motifs on. A picture says a thousand words.
>Is there any documentary you would recommend?Yes there has been a lot of documentaries and my personal favorite is "The Greatest Story Never Told". It brings up many things people should know about Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich that the victors of WWII have chosen to quiet down.
>Is it difficult to piece together all the activities of life in general?I try to always put the fight first, and then lose privacy. But I've never found it difficult to find time in everyday life.
>What would you say to those who are in two minds to get involved in the Resistance? For those who have not yet engaged, I would say that it is time to stop putting his fist into his pocket and raise it to the sky. Apply to the Resistance today and make a difference.
>North Front thanks Michael Svannäs for his involvement."Translation Source (On Facebook):
