Is this intentional? Do you deny this to be the case? Is it just a result of your board being much slower than 4chan, so every post on 8/v/ gets viewed by a moderator? Or was greater-than-4chan moderation never your intention and your moderation team is a runaway train?

It seems there's some double standards on /v/ now. Others can make threads about their videogame waifu that are only a line long without being banned, but when I do it, I get reprimanded.
Why is this the case? Why is it that I get into trouble for doing this, but someone else doesn't? Can someone please explain this to me? Is having Cirno as your waifu against the rules?

Are there any mods around during early morning-mind afternoon (GMT) times?

I've seen it mostly in nintendo threads where some shitposter makes this bigass post about how he used to be a nintendrone and defended these awful practices and goes on to say something vague as shit while also never complaining about anything specific. like "AMIIBOS ARE BAD!" but he never gives an example of how they are bad or what content he's angry that they're "locking" he's just angry with the concept and seemingly not even familiar enough with them to know what they actually do.
What makes it worse is they tend to turn out to be rugga-like posters. Nintnedo threads in general have MASSIVELY dipped in quality since E3 and I thought it was just board wide until I was in a thread talking about the PS4's new model announcement and it was all sensible discussion and no one calling each other drones and retards.

So, Mark, the owner of /v/, just went full fucking [REDACTED] on a thread on /v/, handing out deletions, bans, and eventually just nuking the entire thread.
His initial post was attempting to contribute to the thread, but eventually devolved into people calling him out for posting with a cap code when it was wholly unnecessary. Soon he began posting user post histories in some odd attempt to . Then he proceeded to attempt to delete the evidence, followed up by a number of completely unnecessary bans, my own included, designed to help him cover his own ass. He then proceeded to delete the entire thread.
In the continuation thread, he deleted/permabanned anyone referencing the original thread, and then wordfiltered links to the /operate/ board discussing the issue:

Hotwheels, if you're reading this: I know 8chan is meant to be a place for board owners to run their own communities, but when you have this type of behavior so prevalent on your most populated board, you're doing yourself, and 8chan as a whole, a disservice. I don't know what you can do, but I request that something, however small, be done. 8chan has been like a new home to me this past year, and seeing the largest part of it fall to the same kind of overzealous moderation and petty drama bullshit that killed other sites is painful.

After finding out there's apparently some strife in attempting to divide and conquer boards, and seeing what kind of content is present in this board's catalog (i.e 95% shitposting, shilling, and asshurt), I think it's probably best to consider closing down /feedbackv/ and keep feedback limited to IRC, one on one, emails or tweets. At the moment, this board just looks to be a transparent attempt to cultivate a fake public opinion against /v/'s volunteers, which in reality, nobody who actually browses /v/ has a problem with.The current status of /feedbackv/, by the way, is the same reason hotweels decided to nuke the old /meta/ board, as the majority of threads were nothing more but trolls and shills petitioning hotweels to change board ownership and meme spam. This was particularly prevalent with the attempt to divide /pol/ and /gg/. There's a similar attempt here now, with shills grasping at what straws they can (ralph retort scenario comes to mind).
I don't particularly like this solution, but I don't think this board holds any intrinsic value in helping the betterment of /v/ as a whole. At least, not in its current form.
