Don't see why not. There's a potential for abusing the feature but I could see how it would be useful also.

It's very helpful to make sure /v/ stays in top shape and shitposters stay away from us. If 4chan mods had this ability, maybe they wouldn't have gone to shit so quickly.

Fully support them, so long as it maintains /v/ as a high quality discussion board.
