After finding out there's apparently some strife in attempting to divide and conquer boards, and seeing what kind of content is present in this board's catalog (i.e 95% shitposting, shilling, and asshurt), I think it's probably best to consider closing down /feedbackv/ and keep feedback limited to IRC, one on one, emails or tweets. At the moment, this board just looks to be a transparent attempt to cultivate a fake public opinion against /v/'s volunteers, which in reality, nobody who actually browses /v/ has a problem with.

The current status of /feedbackv/, by the way, is the same reason hotweels decided to nuke the old /meta/ board, as the majority of threads were nothing more but trolls and shills petitioning hotweels to change board ownership and meme spam. This was particularly prevalent with the attempt to divide /pol/ and /gg/. There's a similar attempt here now, with shills grasping at what straws they can (ralph retort scenario comes to mind).

I don't particularly like this solution, but I don't think this board holds any intrinsic value in helping the betterment of /v/ as a whole. At least, not in its current form.

I haven't been around for months, but I did want to say one final thing. I know it can look like goons or whatever, but never underestimate the power of a sperg with VPNs. There are people who hold grudges and do everything they can to spam the shit out of whatever ticked them off. There are a few people I suspect of being behind this and they were /v/ and /int/ posters. We dealt with them on /metav/ and /v/ in early september last year.

I've just caught up and read the threads and archives of all the accusations of a third party, and there's no real evidence that I can see that suggests it's a large organized group. All the screencaps of threads I have seen have the same exact posting styles and image macros of the spammers from early 8/v/. Sometimes it's as simple as that.

Not only is there a large cache of such unlawful bans the vidyagaems mods put out in the skype logs they leaked, just checking the logs page and checking which posts were deleted in the archive reveals that it's almost always unjustified. At my last count, you were handing out 70% unjustified permanent bans, for example throwing in a permaban for ban evading on someone who had no ban record whatsoever, with post text that does not match anything else in the archive.
