My idea is: instead of using ID, why can't we use a fuckhuge database with shitloads of videogame names to identify ourselves randomly in threads? It would be very fun and also we can bring the comunity toghether. From common stuff like Mario/Megaman to any shady/strange name of a Atari 2600 game, I think we can make a great list with videogame heroes/villians/characters/mobs and use it.
They don't have to replace IDs, maybe we can still use random name + ID, but who knows, if /tg/ made dicerolling a common thing, why not videogames characters? It also would help to funposting.

This idea reminds me of 420chan and Ylilauta. On Ylilauta, the standard name is replaced with a stereotypical name for the country the poster came from(Yes, Cockroach, Burgerking, Pepé, Fritz, Wojak etc). Now think for a while how retarded that will be with random vidya characters.
