At any rate, the main issue here is you came around during a "generational shift" period. This isn't the golden age where there were a few big foot fetish studios that everyone appreciated and respected for what they could provide. We're talking about a generation of users who grew up in an age where they learned right from the start how to get EVERYTHING for free; free music, free movies, free programs and of course, free porn. They can't even comprehend a reality where they actually PAY for something like this, when they see a price tag, it means nothing more to them than an obstacle that must be overcome somehow, even if they're more than capable of affording a subscription. In their minds its not so much "why should I have to pay?" as much as "how DARE they ask me to pay! I'll show them!"
So what can you do? You could always reformat and do a subscription based streaming service/image gallery with the necessary fail safes and security measures put in place to keep people from downloading stuff, but unfortunately the advancements in browser plug-ins and specialized websites that can get around all that is growing just as fast. I mean I can download images off of flickr by simply right clicking, choosing "inspect element" and going through the back door directly through the website script to find the image directory. And there are even sites to rip content off of streaming porn sites like pornhub and xhamster.
You chose to start this company in an age where you're the enemy, for having content people want and trying to keep it from them by DARING to charge money. And sadly most of these people don't care if you call it quits and shut down…they'll just claim you got "butthurt" and ragequit, denying any involvement they had, moving on to the next website, as of course theres always more where that came from.
It sucks…but this is just the current reality. I'm not trying to discourage you from continuing with what you're doing, but this is just how the current industry is…apart from some of the more mature individuals who do the right thing, the rest of your clientele are spoiled rotten privileged little cunts.
