It's not that I'm not interested in relationships, certainly not the case at all as I love Sociology and Psychology and love to just sit and watch and think about people.
I'm quite interested in relationships.
But mine have never gone too well-not that it's a main influence on my opinion of them or anything, it's merely fact.
As to how I view relationships with others though; I'm just extremely picky in who I make friends with. Some would probably consider me an elitist-most people I talk with about music/art/movies and why I like or dislike things is certainly an indicator.
But I believe that things should be done with intentions, that we should look to be inspiring people and giving them messages that influence them to further themselves and others.
This doesn't mean I don't think there isn't a place for shallow love songs and the sort-they just don't appeal to me because I work on a level of 'it needs to mean something' and most of those things are made with the intention of trying to appeal to the most people instead of being what it wants to be.
The things I don't like are things that aren't being true to themselves and being who/what they want to be.
I don't like liars, I don't like people who pretend to be someone they're not.
If people were more true to themselves and less concerned with offending others or not being popular I think the world would fall into place in accepting others and their views far more easily instead of the current standard of berating anyone who is different.
