I have been bumping up the Kinsey scale myself for a while now, OP. I started at 0 and I've ended up at 2. It feels like it could go to 3 or maybe even 4… Well that's just to describe what's happened to me.Although, I feel as though it was suppressed and has been around for a while, maybe. I did keep having multiple hesitations and probably kept up my first hesitation for a while. I won't have noticed it because of it being subconcious since I had a little bit of a rejection mechanism in me for things that I thought were bad to indulge in. I don't think it was always there though, I think it's apart of more newly matured outlooks and psychology, so I don't think it would have happened say 3 years ago. The implications to sexuality your inherent state at birth has are probably very small and vague so I don't think we are born with things in the matter of sexuality that much.
Also, it was and still kind of is a taboo for me, and probably for you in a way. That will just make us want it more, really.
It is also, blissfully sweet and calming in a way… It just feels like you can be so much more kindred with a girl. I feel like there would be quite a lot more sweet little bits of naughtiness and humour together with a girl, and there would be all kinds of unique ways of touching each other, all with just softness and a more mutual perspectives with each other. That would also mean more observations together, more talking about deep things, more talking about lewd things, observing lewd things outside of your own relationship, stuff like that. Well that's just some thoughts on it.

A lot of girls I know didn't start experimenting with stuff until in their mid 20s or at the very least in college. It's not unusual to find interest in that sort of thing after a while.
