My ex-roommate seems normal, she enjoys going out to the mall and walking around window shopping. She enjoys drawing and is pretty good. She also works at del taco full time. She also watches youtube videos of some people just going through their lives, like this one dude and his "life after college" vlog, which I never understood, but eh she's a grown woman, she can do whatever she wants with her freetime.

I've met two gulls irl in December who asked to meet me because of the work I did with that makeup general and they were actually normal and sweet. We went out for noodles, bubble tea, and went shopping. I think it's because they're older and the userbase of 4chan got younger in recent years, which helped to contribute to certain boards getting shit up. Also, cosplay as a hobby got bastardized thanks to fake nerd girls who only got into it for attention and money.

I've checked out the /cgl/ here and while slower, it seems nicer. You're right about the bitchiness though. That's actually why my co-runner and I left. We weren't about to help people who began to act terrible for no reason.

But I also have a wide range of tastes when it comes to the behavior, appearance, or proclivities of women.
This is because I prioritize a personality or intelligence that is compatible with mine, looks being second as it is both a conscious and unconscious decision, and thirdly what they're interested in because I know that a true couple will not only share hobbies but compliment and introduce new interests to each other.

Looks are important because they can make me interested in getting to know someone, but it's been the case too many times getting to know someone who looked 'interesting' and turned out they were an ass.
Thus, between that and access to the internet where I can find a million pictures of a million different and beautiful women-I've come to the conclusion it's better to be attracted to someone who looks mediocre but has a brain than someone who looks attractive but is a bitch/has no brain.

It's not ignoring the instincts in recognizing women who are pretty, I can pick them out. It has more to do with accepting the reality that for someone like me, it's not as important because I'm not looking for arm candy but someone whom can engage with me intellectually.

Looks are skin deep, so while they help to keep and breed attraction between people, they shouldn't be a driving factor.

Recognizing this will allow you to see the illusion perpetuated by the media-that everyone deserves their soul mate and that soul mates are always beautiful individuals.
Instead, most people are average looking, but make the most of things between each other.
