What does /fem/ think about jealousy in a relationship? Is there a double standard? Is it ever acceptable?

I'm in a relationship with a guy who openly admits that he is jealous of attention given to me by other men. He's not controlling, but he appreciates when I take his feelings into consideration (telling him if I'm going out in mixed company, for example). He says that he's jealous not because he thinks that I will cheat or some guy will steal me, but because he knows that I really love him (and I do) and gets irritated because other men don't deserve to look at me. He lets me dress up nicely and wear makeup and jewelry and all that (which many guys don't), but because I want to look good for him, not to draw attention from other guys.

To be honest, I really like the feeling this gives me. Is that wrong?

You're both human, regardless of sex, I think either person would enjoy lewd attention from the opposite sex and the other get their back up about it.

I am in a similar relationship and when he acts jealous it kinda turns me on. I guess because it makes me feel really valuable to him.

It gets more complicated though, /fem/. Get your popcorn ready.

So I mentioned that he was charming and charismatic, right? He's a lawyer, and he is somehow a smooth-talker without being a bullshitter, and he basically is just a really compelling person. He takes REALLY good care of me too - we don't live together yet, but we are constantly communicating, and when we are out together, I don't think he's ever let me out of arm's reach. Basically, he gives me all kinds of attention and consideration and takes care of me better than all of the other men that have been in my life combined.

He doesn't have many close male friends though. Most of his friends are female, and it's obvious even from strangers that lots of girls are interested in him, and he knows it. I wouldn't go as far to say as he is flirty with them, but there's definitely this magnetism going on.

I know that this should make me feel jealous, but…it doesn't. I like that he's friendly with all kinds of people, and I kinda like that other girls are interested in him. He pays so much attention to me and is so attentive to my needs and feelings, I just can't find it in myself to be jealous.

Full disclosure: he's my fiancé, not just my boyfriend, which might have something to do with it.

One last part to make it even more confusing, and it has to do with his sexual fantasies.

We were sharing our deepest fantasies read: he was telling me his in exquisite sensual detail, and I was basically listening and melting into a puddle and he said that the most "extreme" fantasy that he had involved threesomes. But it was more specific than that. He said that his fantasy was having the two of us use/dominate a third girl, and basically, having me be sexually cruel or demeaning to her.

Lewd alert: examples he gave were having her lick my pussy while he was fucking me, or forcing her to roughly swallow his cock, or having me pinch her nipples and call her degrading names and taunt her about how she couldn't have him as he was pounding her, or having her lick my ass and lubricate his cock before anal, or…you get the idea, and what kind of detail he went into.

I'm heterosexual as far as I know, and I never really had any inclination to experiment with girls, but the way he was describing it to me…I didn't feel any jealousy, to be sure. It actually really turned me on. Like, "I don't even know who I am anymore" level of arousal.

So we floated the idea of visiting a gentlemen's club to see how I handled things physically rather than just mentally. We went, and it was actually much nicer than I thought it would be. The girls were really pretty and had beautiful bodies. That was actually the strangest thing - I was watching the girls more than he was! He had his hands on me the entire time, and genuinely didn't seem that interested in the other girls as much as how I was enjoying the experience (which I definitely did). When we went back to his place, we had some of the hottest, mind-blowing sex we've had to date.

So I'm all kinds of confused, obviously. I'm happy, and I trust him completely, but I was just hoping maybe some of you could relate and share.

(I'm finished with my blog, I promise.)

Studies suggest women are more fluid with their sexuality anyway. I say if it turns you on (which it sounds like it does) go for it.

I wish a girl was jealous and possessive of me, it'd mean she really loved me and cared to have me all to herself.

I've noticed this as well. A lot of girls admitted that they have experimented with girls before (mostly while drunk, they're all ashamed of it).

That's not your purpose, anon. As a male, you are the competitor, not the prize. To act otherwise is to fight against the natural order.

If you wish to do so, more power to you. But I hope that you understand why it is not your role to be the object of desire.

>Why Every Woman Over 50 Should Practice Bisexuality

Not what I was expecting, but this excerpt at the bottom was much more telling.

>Some 46 percent of adults 55+ are open to dating someone of a different race, compared to 66 percent of adults ages 18 to 34. Overall, 65 percent of men are willing to date someone of a different race, compared with 51 percent of women.

Somebody tell /pol/ that the gals are behaving themselves better than the boys.

This was already well known to anyone with a brain

Women prefer stability, what's more stable than someone of the same race?

Men are whores who want to cum in as many cunts as possible, so race is less relevant.

Whites are the only race in which both genders prefer their own race over the others; white females prefer white males and white males prefer white females.

If this holds true throughout the future (and throughout other age groups) whites will be the dominant race at least in the US.

Heh, pretty sure my gal likes when I am jealous too. Which sucks because it's confusing, like a catch 22. Jealousy feels horrible, why would you wish that on someone you supposedly love?

When she gets jealous of someone I do like it, but the pleasure comes from a place of resentment and anger…it's not healthy at all for the relationship.
