I just think they are heavily attributed with being gay. Like, their behaviour in general. Plus, not even necessarily effeminate-type things. Also, I think males have two really contrasting sides (with not much middle ground) of sexuality that heavily changes who they are and the of traits they have. I think females on the other hand have more universal traits between each sexuality variation.

Oh also, I don't really group Mochizou with the Free! characters. Mochizou seems normal and not gay to me. Well of course he loves Tamako and everything.

It doesn't become less gay "because he's totally who I want to be". It doesn't become less gay because it's an angel who just so happens to be exactly in the form of a human man that gets naked with Shinji all alone and holds his hand and asks to go to bed with him.

In that story humanity itself takes collectively takes the role of the final angel attacking NERV. Humanity and angels are not completely removed from one another, in fact humanity could be easily interpreted as another angel contending for the ultimate prize. Humans are shown to be able to cause Third Impact, and to have AT fields as well. And to top it off Angels have DNA that is all but human.

And Kaworu is an angel who is in human form, who explicitly tells you his very human feelings. He says he loves Shinji and shows clear sexual/romantic affection in that same moment they're sharing together.

You claimed two things that are incorrect.

One, that I'm a denialist, apparently denying some well established truth. The things I called feminine are things that in our society and language are described as feminine. Perhaps you think I'm enforcing traditional gender roles, but I'm not, I'm just using understood words for the purpose of description and communicating ideas.

Two, you claim I think of masculinity and femininity how you described it. But your mistake is that I don't think of them in that way. That's your mistaken guess at what I think and believe.

Both of those things were incorrect, and I pointed that out to you. Now you've doubled down on them, and said I'm wrong. I'm wrong about my own beliefs apparently. I didn't know that. I thought I would know what I believed, and not have it be some crap that you invented. How wrong I was!

Now apparently I haven't caught up with you and your amazing power to read into my beliefs and premises, but one day I hope to. And I'm a yokel too now. That's amazing, I had no idea!

If two guys have sex and they both SAY they're straight then isn't that like doubly straight?

Kaworu was very intrigued with him. He enjoyed understanding him a lot!
Shinji, the incredibly vulnerable 14 year old boy, was being deeply confided with and given calmness/affection. But of all the love he felt, I don't think he would like to sexually engage with Kaworu at all or feel any appeal to romance in any way with him. Their entire interaction was always quiet conversations. Kaworu was a dear friend, and it's important to note that Kaworu wasn't human. Kaworu has no embarrassment or insecurities, no feelings of reservation, no reason at all to not become intimate with Shinji's body and feel his presence close. Wouldn't we all be more intimate with our friends if we were similar to Kaworu?
