If a significant number of men become unemployed because women are just straight up better at knowledge economy stuff, new career paths will open up to make use of available labour, even if that means millions of women's strip clubs (will teabag for food).
Things will never go back to the 1950s because it's just plain inefficient and a household with only one breadwinner can't afford all the stuff we've invented since then.
