From a personal standpoint, my, I guess "disinterest" in women stems from shitty parenting. I could give a shit if you're a radfem or anything like that, I still won't be interested. When I was little, any interest in girls was giggled at, and me having the young, moldable mind a child has, thought that meant it was an embarrassing or bad thing. As a result, to avoid being (what I thought was) made fun of by my friends and family, I just stayed out of it entirely. Numerous years of this behavior only reinforced it, and I'm pretty sure I can't go back. Sure, I think the legal system is fucked with this whole rape deal, as well as divorce, but it doesn't matter to me personally, since I'll never be in that situation. Not to mention years of depression reinforcing the idea in my head that I'm an unattractive, undesirable shitbag who doesn't deserve a partner, should I even be able to find one.
