Too much showering makes your skin dry, and men shower more because they smell like shit after 6 hours. Women take puerto rican baths to keep their skin and hair from drying out and to conserve water, while men just want to scrub the shame and constant filth away.

I shower every 3 days or so.
Washing my strategically stinky areas is something I do every day, but you don't need to get in the shower for that. A sink, soap and a cloth to dry yourself will do.
Washing every day is a waste of time or water. Unless you're one of those sweaty people, then wash all the time please.
