/fem/ can I talk to you guys about something?

A while back on /fem/ I met a girl who I became friends with. We talked about silly shit for months, ended up friends, blah blah blah. For clarification I'm not some guy who got a crush on her, we're both girls.

Long story short I find out she's in a relationship where she's not allowed to use imageboards or chat programs because it's "not a woman's role" and from what I gathered her boyfriend is very controlling and she's dependant on him. The last thing I got was from her boyfriend saying "It's okay now we fugged" after he found out about her chat programs and I haven't seen her since which was a few weeks ago. What do I do /fem/? I miss my friend and I feel like I'll never see her again just because her boyfriend's a jerk. I understand she loves him and she'd hold him over me because of that but…I still want to see her again.

damn…

if you ever talk to her again… I dunno how you can break that because she might not be willing to receive if you just straight tell her the person she loves/depends on is a controlling cockwad.

Be subtle, and make her feel like shes coming up with the idea of breaking free herself.

So with that said, don't tell her shes should have it better, but show her through a personal story or some form of media about how well yours and other peoples partners treat you and their partners.

That really sounds like a messed up relationship, op. I hope your friend gets out of that soon.

She seemed like she was breaking out of it a little until her boyfriend found out. Then she wouldn't even speak to me. Her boyfriend came on asking questions about what she had been doing and stuff. Even if she doesn't want to talk to me again I'd love to just say goodbye or know that she's made her own choice rather than feeling like her boyfriend is keeping her away.

>met a girl on /fem/
I think I've seen her around talking about how he punishes her and won't let her on except for specific conditions… I assumed they were in some sort of DD/lg thing or something.

I also met a great grill on /fem/ that I thought was cool as hell. Havent seen her in ages here…this place is like a goddamn ghost town now. I even left my e-mail for her so we could actually talk properly, but alas, no response.

oh well, dog grill will never be forgotten

Well, femanon, you have 3 options.

>Call the police.

If this isn't some kind of BDSM play she willingly entered into, it's very likely domestic abuse. Don't know how the cops over in the swampy bogs handle this stuff but here in burgerland, if someone called and said she tried to kill herself or was being domestically abused, she'd be removed from the situation and placed in psychiatric observation for about 3 to 4 days, depending on the state.

>Abandon her to her fate.

This sounds like it'd be rather heartless, but if you attempted to intervene, and it doesn't work, this guy might come after you next.

>Seduce your friend.

This would be ill advised, but if she's dependent on him, showing her that it's okay to find someone else to love might help her break ties with him if she truly wants out of that relationship. Bonus is that you now have a friend with benefits.
