Nor'n? Not over my dead body, haha. One side of my family is Irish (the south) and the other has a lot of mixing, but mostly Irish and Scottish. The way it works out, with ethnicity classically going by what your father was, it makes my mother Scottish and my father Irish. I identify with both. Right now I'm living in "the UK".

I've been listening to a lot of Scottish and Irish folk music recently, so, ditto.

I do support Scottish independence, but I don't trust the SNP. That's why I didn't vote Yes. When another major party comes around to supporting independence - someday I think the Lib Dems and Labour might - and they have another referendume while they're in power, I'll vote Yes.

ah, i'm really sorry! i don't mean neoliberal or Blairite or even modern Labour I'm just not too keen on extremes any more. i mean, i've always wanted a stronger Scottish national identity, but I don't know how I could reconcile that with my views ont things like drug legislation and benefits for the legitimately disabled.
