Luck matters less if you spend a decent amount of time getting to know people. If you treat it like a store where you can go in and pick out what you want you are going to be disappointed. If you treat it like a club where you go to hang out with people with a similar interest and are open to something happening eventually maybe then you might have more luck. no my point is luck matters less if you are there for a longer time period. Yes that might be who you "get to know" but my point is if someone does show up new who is compatible with you or someone you might be interested in ends up single it helps if you are part of the group and are friends with them/people they will meet if they are new. It still takes luck but it might help to keep rolling the dice over and over and get to know people meantime.
