What I look for in a sub is generally his demeanor, more so than his looks. While it's easier to work with shaven flesh, it's ultimately the attitude that matters to Me. I have a domme and she makes me shave my ass, balls and that area in general, probably because it's more pleasing to her, she also likes pegging, so having a hairy ass is a no-no. Having hair on your balls or around them can be very painful when playing with ropes because it get's yanked off. She doesn't makes me shave my legs or armpits though, I have to say I don't have too much body hair, specially on my arms, probably the same amount as a girl.
