Furthermore, no specific lifestyle reigns over this board. You may be quite feminine, "modern", tomboyish, traditional, etc. None of you are superior to another simply because you choose to live your life differently.

Does being involved or interested in shitposting make a woman inherently unfeminine?

Personally I'm feminine in my other pursuits: I make sure I carry myself elegantly, dress as a lady should, and always try to be the best I can for my boyfriend. But, I browse 8chan and love making shitposts with all my heart and soul. Does this have the potential to 'ruin' a woman? I might as well be bordering on an identity crisis here.

Not trying to start any drama or argument.

Just a little discussion into this.

How true is this in general and what's your personal opinion and view into this?

Everyone is welcome

It's 99% true but he fails to acknowledge that men do this to themselves more than women do it to them.

Women get help more easily because they're not afraid to ask for it in the first place, and they also help each other more.

Men, for the most part, are okay with playing the role of providers and protectors and are not very tolerant of displays of weakness by other men.

So yeah, he's right but at the same time he's annoying because he's blaming women for treating men like they ask to be treated.

Does being involved or interested in math/sciences make a woman inherently unfeminine?

Personally I'm feminine in my other pursuits: I make sure I carry myself elegantly, dress as a lady should, and always try to be the best I can for my boyfriend. But, I study engineering and love math with all my heart and soul. Does this have the potential to 'ruin' a woman? I might as well be bordering on an identity crisis here.

For example, a close relative of mine is a damn good architect and has a firm career. She got married a couple days ago at 26 to a quite fine guy. I think she pretty much won at life.

From personal experience, many female STEM students tend to be unfeminine, but I think this is more of a coincidence. I don't think that STEM is inherently an unfeminine area.

I have met feminine STEM students.

That said, I'm inclined to agree with >>557
I do not want to marry a 35 year old woman who is "finally ready to settle down". I think that a feminine woman could be a scientist, but if she is truly feminine, she wouldn't let her job get in the way of having a family.

What the fuck? Femininity is about embracing your identity as a woman, not feeling bad for not fulfilling even the worst stereotypes about woman. Are you also telling me you're afraid of not being feminine enough because you're not an empty shell of a human that acts like a vapid gossiping idiot? Fuck, you're the reason feminism exist, and this is the reason I can't be whoever the fuck I want without attracting bad looks for not being ladylike enough. Fuck you.

Not at all.

My wife is going full compsci and knows highschool level electronics.

I plan on going into the engineering field myself and we both ask eachother questions on what we know and think we know. Almost like we compliment eachother.

If anything, that's what drew me to her.

>Medicine is pretty much inherently feminine.

Are you sure about that?

To answer OP's question, no, I don't think there's anything inherently unfeminine about being a scientist.
